Vinayaga by Poppys

My best experience ever in rameswaram after danushkodi. My family was so comfortable with the facility and we had a wonderful hosting from the staff. No delays were faced while confirming the booking or when the room service was called. The location was also so quiet and peaceful. Only suggestion i would give them is they should be precise with the availability of food coz we couldn’t get the desired food. And the timings of the food were so confusing that we have to make 2 or 3 calls to confirm the available food. Still i would give 5/5 for the facilities they provided coz from what i know about rameswaram, it is difficult to find a good, hygienic place to stay and eat. Plus it’s an excellent place for families to be in coz of the security and service. I don’t have more to say. The place is near to sir abdul kalam’s house. It was at walkable distance. The facility is away from the rush of pilgrims and markets. We had thali meals from the restaurant. It was so good and served fresh with a lot of dishes and a dessert. We couldn’t get to taste all the varieties coz of the confusion in timings of the food.

We've stayed in this Vinayaga by Poppys one night. Sufficient parking is available front office staffs are friendly with smiling service especially ms. Valarmathi gave all necessary informations very politely and a good suggestion to eat the lunch in their veg restaurant. As ms. Valarmathi told we enjoyed the tasty sambar sadam, curd rice, gobi manchurian veg biryani leman rice etc. Thanks ms. Valarmathi rooms are spacious, clean and having all necessary facilities like clean bathrooms with soap dental kit, hair dryer, kettle for coffee making etc good ac delicious veg food and excellent service especially mr. Kalimuthu take care of each and every one with loving service with smile. All south indian and north indian dishes are available in buffet breakfast with tasty coffee thanks mr. Kalmuthu for your care and love. No fish foods available in this restaurant recommended for everyone for your pleasant stay in rameshwaram

I'll categorize my review into plus and minus plus: it is about 2 kms from the main temple, 500 meters from the dhanushkodi highway, and placed right outside of the railway station. So location is a plus the food is really tasty and they serve only vegetarian. The rooms were spacious ample vehicle car parking place cons the rooms' floor feel dirty even if you enter for the first time. I don't know why. The breakfast time begins very late and that's at 730am, but they begin to place the items on the counter from 745 and the last item arrives at 800am. Definitely not good for people who'd want to step out quickly. The bathrooms, especially the sink, had a stinking odur. The rates for the food items charged for room service are different from the prices mentioned on the menu. Eg. Cost of a tea is inr70 per menu + taxes, actual charge is inr 80 + taxes. I don't think that's a valid and fair practice.

It cannot be defined anything lower than perfect. Food, staff, all the arrangement just perfect. I would really like to thank the general manager of the Vinayaga by Poppys for helping me in planning my trip and all other related arrangements, food is great and so if the staff managing the dining experience kalai, raja are the few names i remember. I would like to say special thanks to kali for ensuring my booking experience is seamless. And thank you so very much for connecting me mr. Pandit ji at the rameshwaram temple who ensured my darshan are out of the world. Once again thanks to Vinayaga by Poppys vinayaga rameswaram. Highly recommend.

Lucky to meet Mr. Kiruthivasan Om, no words can describe his personality. We were 4 couples booked 2 three bed and 1 double bedroom via MakeMyTrip but we changed our mind for four room when we reached Vinayaga by Poppys. Om helped with discount rate extending to buffet dinner with kids complimentary for 5 kids. Furthermore he helped by providing breakfast at 6:45 am and packed lunch when we checked out. Very good stay location also fine. Thanks for making my stay comfortable. Only one issue no bathroom accessories except towel, shampoo, and soap.

Quite happy with the stay. Restaurant manager kali dais service is professional and i give 5 star for his service. Positives : rooms are clean and comfortable. Ambience is nice restaurant foods are very quality (to be more specific morning buffet breakfast is worth for money) nearer to temple and railway station clean bathroom hot water is available negatives : tv was not working in my room ( since short stay i didn’t raise complaint to room service ) bathroom flush water flow is very slow in room 211

We had a very nice stay here at this Vinayaga by Poppys. The staffs as well as the manager is very supportive and helpful. We got stuck in dhanushkodi due to a problem in our car and they helped us to get a technician to repair our car at the earliest. We are very much thankful to them. Even the restaurant manager, steward kalimuthu is a very nice person and very co-operative. We enjoyed the hospitality of this Vinayaga by Poppys during our stay.

Hotel was very good. Good ambience, good hospitality, good food. Room was hygienic, good lighting. Bathrooms was well equipped and neat. All the staffs were welcoming and warm. Restaurant staff also very warm and quick. Especially mr kali dais the restaurant manager was quick for the queries. Thank you for making our journey smooth and memorable. Special thanks by my kiddo to the reception staffs ms mathi, ms est-her and ms abhi.

Front office and all service staff were polite and helpful. Stay was extremely pleasant. Needs improvement in restaurant as Vinayaga by Poppys restaurant service was not upto the mark.

They using ro water for bathrooms i really like it very much. Food cost is high but other then that all super.

Vinayaga was a good property but the services was not as expected but food was good and query resolution is an issue, during checkin the 1 room was given and told the other room will give key in 5 min but i was waited fir 25 min and the rooms was not allocated, i have to call reception multiple times to get the rooms

I visited to rameshwaram for temple visit with my wife. The Vinayaga by Poppys was neat and clean, location is very good. Room and bathroom are big. Staff is supporting
