West View Hotel

We did encounter a slight delay during check-in as the host took a little extra time at the reception, and during dinner, some of the dishes we ordered were initially unavailable as the chef wasn’t fully prepared to cook them. However, these were minor inconveniences in what was otherwise a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The charm of the location, coupled with the tranquil ambiance, more than made up for these small hiccups. With a bit more attention to service efficiency, this place has the potential to offer an impeccable hospitality experience.

The West View Hotel is located at a calm and beautiful location.There is ample space for kids to play.You can go out in the nearby forest for trek / walk .Hotel staff if very helpful and polite.The buffet breakfast was also quite good.There is a small coffee shop in West View Hotel which has some decent options.Only issue I felt was cleanliness of rooms , there were spiders inside the room as it is quite old building.Also another negative was wifi not working , inspite of several complaints they could not get it working.

We stayed for 4 nights. The per night cost with breakfast and dinner for super deluxe room was reasonable. The room had good amenities like hot water, toiletries. Tea/coffee maker with unlimited supplies, super comfy bed, tv, wifi etc. There is a need for a cemented flat walking path, a wall clock in the room. The service provided by manager devendra, ishwar was excellent. Kitchen gave us yummy food. Waiter naveen served us commendably as did prem from housekeeping. A la cart e food cost is on higher side.

The experience was excellent. The West View Hotel is located in a beautiful spot. Surrounded by dense woods. The buildings are vintage colonial ones. High ceilings and spacious rooms. Lovely ambience is created. The service is excellent. The entire staff is helpful and polite. Great food too. It all made our stay truly memorable. Would love to stay there again and will be planning a longer trip this time.

The West View Hotel is approximately 150 years old heritage property. It has beautiful rooms, coffee shop, lounge, dinner area, badminton court and ample outside place to sit. The staff members are locals from ranikhet and will make you feel welcomed and homely. This was my solo trip and i felt really comfortable and safe staying here.

It is a heritage West View Hotel, staff very friendly, breakfast ok and needs more items to be added, room heating system needs improvement. Room heater rods 2 defective and one in working condition. Another heater was connected but more heating required with ranikhet winter. Hotel environment was great.

This was our second time staying here. It was a great experience once again. Hotel is situated at a beautiful location. Staff was very polite and helpful. Food was great. Rooms are so spacious and clean with all ameneties provided. We look forward to visit here again.

The West View Hotel is lovely, the food is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. West View combines the charm of a colonial era building with the incomparable natural beauty of Ranikhet. Highly recommended. Great place for families with children.

West view ranikhet is a good West View Hotel with well kept garden and a courteous staff. The food was also very good.

Stay was good. Room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel architecture was of colonial era. But vegetarian food was too costly

Very peaceful place. All the amenities are well, wifi available dining hall was very nice with very good serving with delicious food as you want they will ask before making food. Surrounding views are very good also.
