While the overall stay was satisfactory, the restaurant service experienced a significant delay. We waited for over 15 minutes just to receive a menu, even after proactively requesting one. Unfortunately, no staff member offered water or checked on us during that time. The service inefficiency suggests the property might be overbooked and the staff overworked. The situation was such that we ultimately chose to dine at a nearby restaurant, which is not the standard expected from a highly-rated establishment.

We stayed in a deluxe suite, the room was well cleaned and maintained. Room has breathtaking views of the beach. Food at Westbay has always been delicious. Order anything from the menu and you won’t be disappointed. Taste and quality of Batata Wada could have been improved and use of soda could be avoided. Rice kheer was too thick and salty. Jeera rice was too dry, with a bit smell of old rice. Dal fry was too bland. Apart from this whatever we had, was tasty! Overall food quality, quantity and taste is awesome!

I have been for a 2 night stay. The property has a very nice ambience, well maintained and good hospitality. The restaurant has awesome food, good buffet breakfast. Housekeeping staff is very courteous to help every time.

I would rate this resort as average. The view from the room was truly amazing, but the overall service needs a lot of improvement. The room balcony was full of pigeon droppings, and the service table still had marks from previous use. During dinner, the service was very slow—it took more than an hour for food to be served, 15–20 minutes just for rotis, and even an ice-cream order took 25 minutes. Room service was similarly slow. Overall, the resort has a great view, but both cleanliness and service quality need significant improvement.

The resort is located right above Ganpatipule beach and has the most beautiful view of the sea. The resort is equipped with swimming pool and kids play area and multiple activities for kids. Great stay for a family. The restaurant also at the property is great with local and continental options.

The room we booked was in a villa. First you won't get any view as they were building another villas. Don't go after the photos, all the rooms had very bad odour in which you will have to spend your entire night. Also I would suggest don't book rooms at least for the next 5-6 months as there is a lot of construction going on inside the Westbay of many villas.

It was a good stay at Westbay Resort. Property is very good with clean rooms, it is very near to Ganpatipule temple and beach hence making it ideal choice. Office staff very cordial and attentive. We could not find food very tasty and upto our expectations level. Also in room service need to be improved as it takes comparatively more time and follow up to provide food at room. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect — close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions, yet quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious options, and the service was top-notch. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and how well-maintained everything was. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again on my next trip! Done
