Location of property is so far we have to pay exactly amount to the amount paid for saty to the taxi driver for pickup and drop from dharamshala. You have to go down the hill and again climb the mountain to reach. No sunset point. Overall choose some other camps available nearby better than this.

This place is almost as far as mcleodganj from dharamshala, so there is obvsly a cost to reach( unless you have come to stay in dharamshala only) but also depends how you decide to reach a place. Cheapest option is bus, you can check how to reach in description for cheaper options. Ask the caretaker/staff about sunset point, people have witness one of the best sunset here. Sorry for you, you missed it. This is a peaceful getaway, away from crowded places, should be booked only if you like these type of properties.

I had a peaceful stay here, I rated it 5 as the services they are providing at such a location is totally recommendable, food options, stay, and views everything was worth it. Had a awesome experience at Woodscation. Would surely visit again.

Paradise for Solo travellers

I visited Woodscation in June, there is a hike 2 km to reach woodscation, which makes this place even special, away from hustle bustle, this place is perfectly a paradise for solo travelers, food, cabin, tents and view everything was amazing, the host is very generous and helpful. Must visit as per my recommendation. Will be visiting again soon, and this time will be going on a trek with them as well.

It was a good stay

Everything was perfect and we had no issues there. The location was good, the staff was supportive, it was a clean and safe place to stay. The room was comfortable, and I can suggest others to stay here.
