Doesn't feel like a hotel - That's a good thing

The place feels like a well maintain gents hostel (which it is). The rooms are spacious and well lit. There is a sense of calmness around the place that a busy and noisy mind can appreciate. The staff are courteous, just enough, not like your business YMCA INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE, PALARIVATTOM, COCHINs where they go over the top with their service and try to make you feel important (but overcharge you for menial stuff). Here they treat you like adults, like at home. And that, my dear friends, is a good thing. The restaurant below - Aavi - is phenomenal! The food they serve is good and not 'for the price' (very economical). It is phenomenal regardless.

Its best for people who are on a budget trip and for whose who want a place to stay at night. Facilities include a neat bathroom, wardrobe, tv etc. It is a worth for the money. Restaurants and department stores are in walk-able distance. The best about the youth centre is it is at a remarkable location. Opposite Ernakulam Medical Centre. It is close to the bus stop. There are YMCA INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE, PALARIVATTOM, COCHINs near the place including vegetarian, chinese etc.

It was easy to locate and close to Metro Station, access to other means of transportation were easily available. Complementary breakfast was OK. For those who are eggtarian should ask for one at the restaurant, only then will they serve you. If you are Christian and drop in at the place on a Sunday, you can attend Sunday service. There are couple of gatherings. I could hear good Malayalam praise and worship in there conference room.

A decent small neat room. It’s best for people who are on a budget trip and for whose who want a place to stay at night. Ymca international youth centre provides the minimum facilities like a bed table chair wardrobe and a tv and of course a neat bathroom. Worth the money. Restaurants and department stores are in walkable distance.

Safety standards safety standards, good & polite behavior. Undoubtedly, it is good place to stay. Very peaceful and safe place. I booked for one day but due to national strike i extended my stay, despite the band, the staffs are arranging my meals for 3 times, which is incredible service. Thanks for service ymca.

Located at one of the prime locations of the city. Easily accessible to city bus, riksha and metro. Nice and calm place. Safe for women. Food is not that good. As a woman I preferred safety and easy accessibility. Staff is polite and ready to help. I recommend this.

The staffs are very co operative. It was please stay. Safe place for female travelers. Thanks ymca for your incredible service. Most important, during 2 days national strike, they provided / arranged 3 times meals at reasonable prices. Good hospitality by them.

Located in the heart of Kochi, hardly 10 minutes from edapally. Comfort stay for solo travellers as well families. The in-house restaurant can be improved as the breakfast was not up to mark. Nevertheless, a great stay!
