Zambala Guest House

We reached at Zambala Guest House from Siliguri to Kalimpong by bus from there take a sharing taxi to Algarah taxi stand. The Zambala Guest House location little down from taxi stand when I reached there and produced my confirmed booking voucher the Zambala Guest House owner told me my booking was overlapping in spite of booking but the Zambala Guest House owner Mr. Ushering arranged another Zambala Guest House for me he is a nice man. At evening he invite us for local walking sightseeing and arranged spl noodles for dinner in spite of heavy rain he came to the Zambala Guest House for delivering my dinner, really he is very good man with humanity. Money not everything humanity make a man good human. He provide us spl Tea many times, we offered for payment but he didn't take a single penny from us. The Zambala Guest House Zambala is in very good location one can see the great view from it's balcony and but the Zambala Guest House situated at 2nd floor which quite difficult to reach because stairs are high.

Zambala guest house situated at algarah 15kms away from Kalimpong. A beautiful small town. The Zambala Guest House is situated at the heart of the town. From the balcony u'll enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain. Border also enjoy the beautiful view of sunrise and sunset from the balcony. Above all the owner & his wife are very cooperative. They always lookforword to the borders. I've tested the delicious recepies of local foods in this Zambala Guest House which were prepared by their own. The cost of the foods are minimum and the quality is just like any starred Zambala Guest House. The owner guided & arranged my sightseeing tour. I've booked this Zambala Guest House for my mother and her friends. I must visit this Zambala Guest House 2nd time & if you've a plan to visit Kalimpong then stay at ZAMBALA. You don't forget the hospitality of the owner & his wife. Hat's off to Zambala

Pro - It was good experience to stay at the guest house. We were welcomed with tea on reaching the guest house. Staff was very cooperative. Location is good and in the lap of nature. Rooms were neat and clean. Outside view is good if you stay in nest or front facing rooms. Cons - it is 15 kms away from Kalimpong and it becomes difficult to get taxies from Bagdogra Airport and you have to spend extra penny to get the taxi. Food is somehow costly. No other food options are available near guest house. Some of the pics shown at MMT are not of guest house instead these are of PWD guest house located around one km from guest house like water pool. Due to electricity cut, geysers do not work. However we were provided hot water by staff but it took time and was less in quantity. However staff cooperation was very good. Overall experience at the Zambala Guest House was very good.

The room given to us during my visit with family to Kellingpong was very good. I stayed with my family on 08/05/16 and the hospitality extended was awesome. The food was very good and was served hot. I had a gr8 experience. I shall strongly recommend this Zambala Guest House for visitors with family. The only shortcoming about this Zambala Guest House is that it is a little away from main city. But this should not be a reason not to opt for. There are plenty of shared Taxis from bus stand to Algarah(the place where the Zambala Guest House is) and the autowallas charge Rs. 30/-per head. Overall a gr8place to stay

Hotel is 15km from Kalimpong at algarah.. Share cars available in adequate nos though. Rooms are comfortable with very good view. Even if there is fog, being the highest building in algarah... You can have the splendid experience of clouds entering through your windows. Owner is a gentleman and his wife ensures you enjoy good tasty food right in the Zambala Guest House... And though far from Kalimpong, its closer to lava and rishop.. In case you plan a trip.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing hospitality that I got here in Zambala. The location is around 15 Kms from the kalimpong market. So, if you are looking for late night shopping, this place is not for you. It's more for the nature lovers, stay in the greens. A lot of good viewpoints are walkable from here. Food is amazing and the owner and his family are very nice people.

Never felt that we were in Zambala Guest House it was like second home. 5. Would love to book the same Zambala Guest House every time.

The view from the room is breathtaking. The host, couple who ran the guest house were very courteous. The sight seeing was arranged by the guest house itself. Some view points are in the walking distance itself.

It was great stay at Zambala, view was great from Zambala Guest House and food and management staff was very friendly. I liked the balcony the most and the rooms. Though there was problem in electricity sometimes. TV didn't work.

Hotel is good like homely stay. Facilities of home amenities are good also. View from the Zambala Guest House is excellent but we couldn't enjoy due to heavy fog and clouds although it's expected in monsoon. Mr. Ushering is really helpful and a good organizer too. The only matter is we couldn't get varieties of foods, anyway it's OK with us.

Climbing 3rd floor with luggage is painful, should provide persons to carry luggage. Food was good, even service too, approachable to taxi stand and market. Beautiful view from balcony especially on a cloudy day, good and efficient service with a smile. Better place to stay than in crowded Kalimpong.

I have stayed in many Hotels in my life but, stay at Zambala is different. It is 15km away from Kalimpong at Algarah and this is the most positive thing. When you reach Zambala guest house you will fill that you are in your second home.

It has just been an amazing experience in Zambala Guest House. Take a taxi from Kalimpong to reach at Algarah Bazar where it is situated. Rooms are excellent, food served are just awesome. Yummy! It's a peaceful place & having lots of view points which many people don't know. Don't hesitate, go & book Zambala.

It was great trip for us.. The room was good and we had great time.. My daughter had booked the Zambala Guest House for us and we are glad that we are able to find good Zambala Guest House within our budget.. Thou it is far from city but the view was good from window.. The manager was also helpful.

Very neat and clean, well decorated, well maintained, interior design is very good, home stay like, cooking is very delicious, but not suitable for olders because it is in 4 th floor and little more distant from Kalimpong.

Outskirt from Kalimpong .. Location is very beautiful and romantic .. Service and hospitality is too good .. Foods are homemade and too delicious .. View from the Zambala Guest House is fabulous ... Hot water not available in night .. Only available in day time .. Rooms are also very good .. Those who want to experience different Kalimpong .. Must visit zambala guest house.
