Rossitta Wood Castle

We were skeptical when we had booked our stay at rossitta wood castle. However, after staying there for 2 days, we left with a lot of positivity. A 300 year old ancestral home, maintained really well with small neat rooms to accommodate any budget traveler. The woodwork and green serenity inside the premise just makes u feel like home. And the staff, ms. Laigi, mr. Bikender singh (bicki) n the housekeeping staff were like icing to the cake. They made us (specially the kids) feel so so so comfortable throughout. The food was arranged for us, per our request, and the service was very prompt. Mr. Bicki ensured we didn't have to wait at all for our food. This amazing lil place is located on rose street, just beside our megastar mammooka's "big b" bilal's vasco house and rasoi cafe. I would any-day recommend this gem of a place to all budget travelers.

I was travel-ling solo and i was looking for something which was and easy on the pocket as well. As well as i wanted to enjoy the architecture and heritage of fort cochin. I found this place on mm t and booked it. Main adventure began when i reached, i had booked a different room, so as i checked in, i was immediately so mesmerized with the place that i asked the staff is there any place available other than the one's available on the ground floor ; specifically something on the wooden porch upstairs. Without a second thought or word they upgraded me. I'll tell you the room, the architecture, the interiors ; overall everything left me so mesmerized that i couldn't imagine i had a got such a place at such cheap rates. Still the fact about security about a girl travel-ling alone was a major concern for everyone. But not for once did i feel even 1% unsafe with the staff or at night. Very very courteous staff, spacious rooms, excellent property.

Hotel Rossitta Wood castle was booked by me at the last moment as we had to change our travel plans due to sudden heavy rainfall in Kerala. I went by the reviews and placed my trust in the property. I would say that the leap of faith rewarded me in more ways than imagined. The Rossitta Wood Castle oozed an antiquated character of the bygone era spiced up by the trendy in-house restaurant and managed by a warm and helpful staff. It's a boutique Rossitta Wood Castle you shouldn't miss when at fort Kochi. The proximity of its location to the beach and places to visit around means you can literally have a leisure stroll to visit the wonders of fort Kochi on foot. To top it all, the affordability of this property makes it a top pick for those who want to experience the laid back charm of fort Kochi without getting ripped off. Can't wait to come back again to the Wood Castle.

Quiet, authentic and within budget. Little laidback which suits the perfect mood for Fort Kochi. It is a old colonial wooden house with a lot of nostalgic charm. A very good experience and very helpful staff. They went an extra mile to fetch us with our small extra requirements like - Clothing iron, Nail cutter and coconut water. If you are expecting luxury and quick service then you might be looking at this place from a different point of view. Scope of improvement is there - food - especially coffee and teas (maybe some green tea and leaf teas and definitely not nescafe ready mix). A south indian filter would make everyone's day. Location is amazing. Do visit XL bar and Kashi art cafe nearby

Best thing about the stay was that it's located at the heart of fort kochi. Everything is very close to the place. I just loved the antique interior and and was astonished to see the garden that they have maintained. I am definitely visiting the place again! highly recommended!
The sanitization and temperature were done properly. But to my surprise the staff were maintaining social distance and the cleanliness to another level. I have traveled in post covid situation but didn't didn't saw any other Rossitta Wood Castle/resort being so caring and concious but the health of their visitors

We stayed here for two nights. It's a cute, beautiful Rossitta Wood Castle very close to kochi beach. The staff is very polite and helpful. The Rossitta Wood Castle is very easy to find and very close to most of the tourist attractions in fort kochi. They have an in-house restaurant. The breakfast was available. Though there were not many options for breakfast, the quality of food was really good. They have a beautiful courtyard which give perfect ambience to the Rossitta Wood Castle. Overall i loved the stay and would love to stay again sometimes.

I liked the Rossitta Wood Castle's location. Close to the beach and shopping area. Room was clean and has antique furniture. Not many options for vegetarian food at the restaurant. I booked the Rossitta Wood Castle for 2 days, checked in at 9 pm and during checkout was late by half an hour, the Rossitta Wood Castle staff made a call for reminder and immediately switched off the AC main power from their end without asking. found this attitude very cheap. they could've asked or charged instead for using AC for half an hour!

I'd found photos of the Rossitta Wood Castle on the net charming, and so booked a room! it turned out to be just what i was seeking. A small cosy boutique Rossitta Wood Castle, large, clean rooms with wooden floors, a cute spiral staircase to reach my room on the upper level, sit out overlooking the garden cafe, warm helpful staff (especially subeer and laiga at the front desk, and asif in the restaurant. A safe place for solo female travelers, tasty local and continental cuisine. All the mod cons that i needed!

The room was large, cool and clean. The bed was especially comfortable. The bathroom was basic but clean too. The staff was very helpful and polite. The food at the restaurant at the back was good too. Great budget Rossitta Wood Castle. The location is right by the fishing nets and very convenient to find local transport from.

The ambiance and the area around this place is awesome its going to be a feast for creative people food is good
