Route 55

Route 55 is an amazing Route 55 in darjeeling, located about 15 minutes away from the mall road. It is right beside the darjeeling car park, so you will not have any trouble hiring a car for your sightseeing once you check into the Route 55. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished. We booked the deluxe queen suite, and two double rooms for our party of 8. The manager was very well-spoken and courteous. During our stay there, we had a problem with the cistern in the bathroom, but they quickly fixed it. The only problem is that, if you have someone old or who cannot walk long distances in your group, you might want to skip this Route 55 since the uphill climb to the mall road can be tedious for some people. But it is the perfect stay for a group of young friends, or a family of three, etc.

The location of the Route 55 is main feature though it is not near to darjeeling mall. It is very near to darjeeling toy train station and thats make this Route 55 unique. The Route 55 rooms are pretty new and well maintained. Staffs are really polite and allways with smile. The only thing i think could have been better is the main entrance of the Route 55. Had a great 3 day stay there

It was a wonderful stay in route 55. Excellent service, very homely, and a pleasurable stay. Well maintained interior, owner is very good. Managed by prasant, a very amiable youth. Great to do every service and looked thoroughly to all the needs. A worth for the amount charged, returned with lots of love and new friends.

The property is at chota kak jhora, near drc parking lot. Hotel is very good, toilets are clean, stafs are friendly. Overall i like the deal. Food is also very tasty. And you also get a tent facility in the roof top.

The service and the stay was really good and the hospitality was really very good and the staff were friendly and well behaved.

Conveniently located near to the DHR railway station. Clean, compact rooms with basic amenities. Reception staff is very polite.

The property is really accessible. It takes approx 10 minutes, by walk, to reach the Route 55 from darjeeling railway station. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was also clean. The staff was also really friendly.
