The bathroom was spacious and clean. The room was decent. People were very helpful and nice.

soloPros: 1. Walking distance from the market. 2. Helpful owners. 3. Hot water was available. Cons: 1. It's an old property. No enough ventilation/light, dorms don't have much of the moving space. 2. I rented a bike through them, only to find out later that they charged me 30% more than what was being charged in leh at that time for renting a bike. 3. The hostel vibe was missing. It was too quiet. 4. The housekeeping guy cleans the bathroom and picks up trash only when asked to.

Rooms of the hostel are fine but they do not have attached washroom. One single common bathroom is available for all the rooms and the same is very dirty and unhygienic. Nobody was available at reception to guide. It might be ok for solo travellers but if you are travel-ling with your family kindly do not book hostel as it is not at all well maintained. Also no service is available. Very bad experience.

Greeshma and kaustubh were brilliant hosts and extremely helpful. They gave us some amazing travel tips and even helped arrange a last minute driver when our travel agent ditched us. Highly recommend them.

familyI must say that the ambiance of the property was so pleasant. The location was great and easy to find. Caretaker was so welcoming and helpful. They served good quality food for us. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful. Really love to recommend this property.
