It was a wonderful stay at roy's castle. The owners are sweet, kind and considerate. The rooms are of different sizes but all are neat and clean. You might not need fans or ac, looking at the weather there, but they have kept table fans. Bed is soft and comfortable. Blankets are soft and clean. Towels provided on request. Drinking water available in packed bottles. The view from the property is spectacular. The garden is rich with coffee, papaya, bananas, chikoo, pepper and other plants and trees. Chargeable bonfire, bbq available on request. Strong wifi available in all rooms. Best part - the owners. Really helpful and kind. They know the city and if you have more days on hand, ask them for un-touristy places and they will guide you to beautiful locations. Mr. Jacob is an amazing man, his wife, mrs. Molly is a wonderful cook and a good human. Vegetarian meals available on request. Their kids are also affectionate and loving. Just a hitch - the property is a bit distant from the city. And provided the unavailability of street lights in the region, at first it seems farther and denser. But once you get used to it, it is a good experience. The nearest Roy's Castle Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker is a few kilometres away. All the other sights to see are near the town, little away from the property. Rented two wheelers available in the city. The owners will also refer and recommend mr. Girish, if you need taxi. He is an ex-army, kind person, who knows his city and the stories associated with it. Overall, loved the stay. We also overstayed a day, just to relax and enjoy the property and the city.

Rooms are beautiful and clean with a lot of ventilation. The backyard is connected with a coffee plantation where they have set up a nice sitting area where you can sit and relax for hours. Food prices are very less compared to outside if you prefer homemade food. Owners are friendly and very helpful. Would definitely suggest a stay here.

It was a pleasant stay at roy's castle, owner family of the property were so good and cooperative. Good food available by zomato. Tea coffee were available by property owner itself. Good environment surrounded with lish of greenery and very good climate.

The location is quite beautiful, even though it is a bit away from the town center, it's quite accessible. The rooms were decent and clean. The staff were quite nice and made the stay comfortable.
