Amazing resort & convenient location ! location - just 1 km from mall road, making it very convenient for overall sightseeing ! views from the property are amazing overlooking entire mussoorie mountain ranges ! property - it was a old royal fort converted into the beautiful, well maintained and spacious resort. Rooms - rooms are a bit small in size and disappointing considering otherwise spacious royal and luxurious overall property! toilets are very small and rooms appear to have too much furniture in the small size it has ! service - service is just ok, however can be more courteous, accommodative especially by the front desk team ! food - mount watering taste. Large spread in breakfast, lunch dinner buffet. Overall impression - for the average cost of 12-14 k per room per night, this property can give you location convenience, great views of the mountains and feel of being in luxurious property along with good food choices. However on the room sizes and for overall value for money, you may feel a bit disappointed!

Staying at the royal orchid resort was an absolute delight. From the moment i stepped in, the ambiance exuded elegance and relaxation. The lush green surroundings and impeccable landscaping provided a serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring every need was met promptly and with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The dining experience was exceptional, with a diverse menu showcasing both local delicacies and international cuisine. The resort amenities, including the pool and spa facilities, were top-notch, enhancing the overall experience. Overall, my stay at the royal orchid resort exceeded expectations, and i would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating getaway.

We had an uneventful stay at royal orchid fort resort. This place is accessible to taxis from dehradun as the entrance is not thru mall road. But still the access to mall road was only 10 min ride. Though there were monkeys all around it is safe as long as we follow common sense caution with food. The walk thru the property's walkway was very pleasant in the evenings. The food was good and so was the room service, thanks to the room service staff. One area for improvement would be the kids play area which is unmanned due to which folks have spilled food, etc and also the size is very small for kids to make use of the toys there and the books are not for kids (they are syllabus books and story books with less pictures)

Royal orchid fort is one of the finest properties at the heart of mussorie. Mall road is just about 1. 5 kms and famous landour view points are just 20 mins ride from this property. It is a very huge resort offering breathtaking views of mussorie. The rooms were quite clean and well maintained, decently sized. The resort has many sun decks and terraces from where you could get the view of spectacular sunsets and winter line. At night you can see the glittering doon valley too from this stunning resort. Overall the food taste and quality was also good. Breakfast buffet had many options. All in all a good place to unwind and relax.

The stay was ok and was as expected in the Royal Orchid Fort Resort. I booked the room for parents, problem came up with rooms, where in the rooms booked were valley view for which the Royal Orchid Fort Resort charges higher tarrif, but rooms offered were with terrace view. Even after requesting parents were suggested that there is renovation happening, although nothing can be seen or heard. Looks like rooms were kept for people coming from other channels or direct walkin. Thus the whole purpose of booking was in a bin. I have stayed in other orchid properties but this was not a good experience for my parents.

We stayed at royal orchid fort resort, mussoorie for one night and it was an excellent experience. Ms. Sapna was very courteous and helped us throughout. There was a live performance by nikhil stephen at the dinner hall and we were mesmerised by his performance. Anyone looking forward to stay here should definitely go for dinner in the restaurant where they have live performance. Hotels location was also amazing, we stayed in the premium room with balcony and the view of the entire valley was exquisite. Thoroughly recommend this place even for a short relaxing stay in mussoorie.

They upgraded our accommodation. Thanks.Room’s balcony is very good -valley facing .Room interiors are poor in taste,room entrances - there is no light. On multiple requests they placed a jugad light on 3 rd day.there is no charging point on other side of bed . Overall room light is below average.in the balcony you will always afraid of monkey.food quality is average. In the parking a lot of nails thrown here and there no one bothered to collect it . I asked and help to the security guard to collect.I will give 3.5 * in five .

The royal orchid fort resort in mussoorie is offering an excellent stay with ample parking. Staff is alert and eager to assist, as well as extremely courteous. There are two options for a welcome drink upon arrival (buransh and pineapple drink. Check-in went smoothly. Our room is in a newly constructed building that is world class and equipped with the most recent amenities. Interiors that are modern yet elegant. Room service is excellent, and the food is of high quality. Overall rating: 8 out of 10

They need to improve a bit in the medical facilities, need to have basic medicines and equipments as it’s a hilly tourist place

Resort has great location, rooms, food and everything is great.

Property is big and has lot of open deck area for good stroll. Rooms are clean and hygienic. Service is amazing and very helpful. We asked them to buy medicine from market. They did this upfront.

From staff to ambience to hospitality to weather, all was in my favour with my comfortable stay at the resort. Worth a try.

We stayed at royal orchid mussoorie for 4 days and overall our stay was pleasant, room was spacious with attached balcony, but we couldn't go much in balcony due to monkeys. Hotel's infrastructure is amazing and beautiful. Food was very average and overpriced, taste of food was below expectation.

Very pleasant experience, staff was very kind and helpful. Propery location is good as well as they have maintained it with extreme care.

We enjoyed the stay at royal orchid the staff is very friendly and cooperative.. little expensive in food And also personally i want the timing of check in should be changed to 11 am from 3 pm …. No matter they arrange something when we reached early but for zero inconvenience the timing should change otherwise the stay was very enjoyable property is soo good and staff is excellent in nature and services

Stay was pleasant. Hotel location is good and views was very nice. Well maintained and good property. Executive room was just ok, not very good.
