Royal Residency

So I had stayed there for 2 days-1 night, took Premium rooms from MMT app in just 3. 2 K with Breakfast & Dinner. Pros - Hotel room view was super awesome. Rooms were big enough to have gathering, we were 6 people and we partied together in one room and dint felt that it was small. Food and Service was up to mark, I wouldn't say a five star service but since its a less occupancy Royal Residency so less staffing but still they managed to give good service. Paragliding place was just above the Royal Residency, although you have to climb mountain by doing trekking of around 30 mins but its near to the Royal Residency. In rain the view is superb, the clouded skies and weather makes the trip pleasant and Royal Residency has a good view on both ends. Cons - Bathrooms were not up to mark, geyser was broken in one, Wash basing was leaking in one, we managed somehow as we had 3 rooms. We faced frequent electric disconnections, even when we dint stay long in Royal Residency, had issues due to that while charging phones and heating up geezers, Hotel's generator dint ran that much.

The Royal Residency in just 2 kms away from Khajjiar ground. The room was very spacious. It had room heater included in room tariff which is rare to see. We had our 2 meals included in the package which was very tasty. Service was very prompt & courteous. Only problem we faced was for all 3 days we were there 1-4 January 2018 we had to bear the carpenter's work which was very annoying which used to stop only after calling reception or calling MMT team. Rest my overall experience is 3. 5/5.

Khajjiar is a beautiful, small and remote village, 22 kms from Dalhousie. Main attraction is khajjiar ground, khajjiar is also known as mini Switzerland of india, ravishing views. There are less options for Royal Residencys in khajjiar but Royal Residency is the best choice. When we reached there on 2 dec 2017, they were renovating but managing their customers well. Excellent hospitality, Tasty food and Royal Residency is just 1. 5 kms from main attaraction khajjiar ground

Overall we were quite satisfied with our stay in this Royal Residency. View from the room and the balcony is awesome. Rooms are excellent. But service and food are poor and of not much variety. Wild animals can disturb you in the night. We had our own car to travel to the ground around the Khajjiar Lake, otherwise walking around 2km would had been difficult. I would give 4 stars on the whole.

The location was very good. We enjoyed a picnic spot where shooting of a film 'Gadar-ek Prem katha ' was done. Also we saw a park famous as ' mini Switzerland ' and had lot of photos there. The staff of Royal Residency was very cooperative and submissive. The buffet breakfast provided to us was very good. In the evening we had also breakfast there on 7th.

Room was nice and cozy. All amenities are available. Room service is prompt and good. Had stayed for 4 days and did not feel like leaving the place. It is the best located Royal Residency in Khajjiar. The food is very good. Good view from the room window. Overall an amazing experience. I just can say, I would like to stay at the same place again.

This place is after Khajjiar Lake and a little away from the Lake. But provides a beautiful view of Hills and the Himalayan range. Staff is very courteous and the food quality is good. Rooms are clean and hygienic. Due to rains, we had to stay indoors for Around 5 hours in the Royal Residency. Food ordered during this time was good and tasty.

The Royal Residency is situated at a very beautiful location, one can see the awesome view of the snow capped mountains from the room. The room quality is very offered with heater. The food quality is superb. The staffs are very helpful and obedient. Rooms and toilets are well maintained and cleaned every day. Overall value for money.

Room in the Royal Residency was very good, location of the Royal Residency is also very good, food was awesome, room service is best in the Royal Residency room and restaurant, view from the Royal Residency is very soothing, washroom is good but needs some improvements but overall the experience is fantastic

We had a one night stay at Royal Residency royal residency ... The view from rooms and balcony is marvellous .. Service staff is very attentive and cooperative. The only obstacle would be the distance from Dalhousie ... As it is about 24 km away. But the road side view in throughout journey from Dalhousie to khajjiar is breathtaking.

The Royal Residency is situated in the sanctuary itself. So if you don't have a private vehicle roaming or walking outside the Royal Residency at night is not recommended. Food spread is cheap and good. People serving with various work are helpful.
