Excellent stay I would say. If you are visiting Darjeeling there would be no place better than this. Every thing that you need to travel is near. You will get vehicles on rental basis so no hassle in site visiting.

It was a daily dose of pure magic—a peaceful, refreshing gift that set a sublime tone for the entire trip. The genuine warmth and impeccable care provided by Mr. Santosh and his entire dedicated team transformed our stay from comfortable to truly special. They didn't just host us; they looked after us like family, ensuring every single need was met with a gentle smile. And the food! Every meal was a culinary hug—a different variety of incredibly delicious, home-cooked local flavors that were genuinely mouthwatering. It's the kind of comforting, tasty food you crave long after you've left. For any traveler seeking a tranquil, genuine, and profoundly pleasant escape to Darjeeling, far removed from the city's traffic and noise, I wholeheartedly recommend this homestay. It is a true sanctuary. The only minor asterisk on this perfect canvas is the unfortunately very poor condition of the downhill road leading to Bloomfield, Dali. However, even this short challenge is worth navigating for the absolute peace and beauty that awaits you here.

Stay was Comfortable and the food was yum but the problem is transportation. The homestay is located about 20 mins walking distance from main road. Going to Homestay from Main road is fine because its mainly downhill but coming from homestay to main road will be a task until and unless you have your own vehicle or booked a taxi to pick you up from homestay. If you are an budget traveller and are thinking to use public transport then i won't recommend it. But if you are solo traveller or with a partner then you can go.

Our stay at the homestay was truly memorable. Santosh ji was an incredibly kind and familiar host who made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Russel's Homestay is a highly recommended home stay.. We just loved to stay there. Mesmerising view from the bedroom made me feel soooo amazing!!! And the complementary breakfast was also very homely. They gave us a homemade imli chutney which was damn good... Also the owners were very friendly and helpful... Overall a very nice experience and love to stay there again in futur... ❤️ ❤️

You have to spend 1k for to and fro trip to the mall. Expect for the last 2 points everything was just sorted and a womderful place to stay and enjoy your vacation with your family.
