Saagar Sangam -The Resort

Checked into Saagar Sangam -The Resort on 8th October 2011 morning. The Hotel has the most spectacular location and we had a room facing the river. The check in was smooth-- reception did not have a booking in my name but when we produced the voucher it was smooth. The staff is local and therefore very simple people. But they are friendly and their service is good. Our room was VERY GOOD. We had stayed in other resorts in that area and this place has really got good rooms which are well maintained and everything works. There were a lot of power cuts and they would switch on the generator only after a few hours. The food was excellent PROVIDED you stick to MALVANI FOOD which we found to be very good here. We spoke to the lady cook and she would make us food which you can only taste in "a home". Some of the best beaches of this area are close by. This Saagar Sangam -The Resort location is recommended for people having a car due to its far from everything setting. There was no running hot water.

I visited during year end and stayed in panaromic view room. . The resort is average but has good view of backwaters. The property seems old, does not have lift facility. Stairways are very narrow with average head room. The price asked during peak season is ridiculous. Its not worth. Limited menu items available. No lunch no dinner facility. The rooms are spacious with wooden furniture. Internet not working in rooms. Refrigerator not working when asked was told none of the fridge are working in Saagar Sangam -The Resort. Overall the stay was below average for the price i paid.

We stayed at this Saagar Sangam -The Resort for 3 nights and the experience was quite good. Hotel is clean. We had booked a panoramic room which provided a great River view. Room was clean too. Room service was quick. Hotel is 2 mins walk from beach. Devbaug is great location to travel, it is near to Tarkarli and Sindhudurga Fort but still peaceful and less crowd. Hotel manager Sandip was good, provided contacts for scuba and suggested places to visit. Overall nice experience, we enjoyed a lot.

Booked this Saagar Sangam -The Resort considering it is MMT assured and it matches to its expectation. Very nicely maintained rooms and excellent river facing location. Rooms are spacious and contain all necessary amenities. They only need to fix window locks and change mattresses to comfortable ones. Food is bit costly but very yummy. Need to add more items to the menu though. Overall very good Saagar Sangam -The Resort & helpful, courteous staff. Truly recommended to visitors to Tarkarli.

Check-in an was upgraded to a sea view room the view was amazing. But the AC was not working and it was repaired after some time, the Bed mattress is too hard and the spring off the mattress hurts you while sleeping. No much choice on food limited menu, next day I Booked the best room that's the panoramic room the view from the room is amazing but again A/C cooling was not good an could not be resolved they Said it was because of some power problem but in all the stay was good.

Very good place for holiday stay nice ambience as well as nice room service. Cleanliness and food is too good. Overall it's perfect place for couple as well as family to enjoy your holidays. Nearby devbag and Tarkarli beaches are most clean and beautiful beaches is added +point you can take activa for sightseeing or visit diff nearby beaches with 350 per day rent. Which is required to visit different places in Malvan and Tarkarli.. It's 11km from Malvan kalm and silent place.

Hotel property is really good. We stayed in River facing room. You can take advantage of Beach and River altogether, Beach is at walking distance. They took time to prepare food but it was really tasty and Worth waiting for. Even though they might not follow so called professional attitude of service industry, they care about their guest. We even got call from them asking and guiding us how to reach to The Saagar Sangam -The Resort. Overall pleasant stay.

I recently stayed at this Saagar Sangam -The Resort and i must say i had an amazing experience. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped with all the essential amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist me with any queries or concerns. The location was great, close to all the popular attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this Saagar Sangam -The Resort to anyone looking for a good stay experience.

Rooms are spacious. Location is perfect river view is awesome and relaxing. You can enjoy the view from the balcony or may go directly on river edge which is totally safe. Food here is good cooked. To sum up worth the money

Shaving/dental kit not provided in Saagar Sangam -The Resort no nearby shop to purchase these items. Hotel staff cooperative. Rooms cleanliness good. Veg food tried, food quality OK.

Good property location, good room service with good food.

The room was at nice location but they don't have food facility available with the music will get only breakfast and tea .. Just near Saagar Sangam -The Resort you have golden beach on walking distance that's the plus point.

Hotel Staff are very Good, smiling and courteous. We always had food in the Saagar Sangam -The Resort and believe me, food is just yummy and fantastic. Veg and non veg both are good. Rooms are well maintained with a beautiful view from sunrise till sunset. A stay worth spending on.

Calm and tranquil, perfect location to spend week. Located just between Tarkarli and devbag. River facing and a walk away from beach. Food is awesome too (just inform them in advance for preparation). Service was good.

Very good location overlooking the river backwater. Very quiet and scenic location. Breakfast was delicious. No lunch or dinner facility but there was a good fish thali restaurant on a walkable distance. Beach was very close at about 5 minutes walk.

Had a good stay experience. Tasty food. Very good hospitality. Awesome river view. Worth for family stay.

Great place to stay. Had a good time. Very near to Tarkarli beach. Good food. But no much variety available in food. Nearby, there are good Saagar Sangam -The Resorts which serve authentic Malvani food. Scuba diving spots are also nearby
