review of saffronstays lonavala: a peaceful stay but overpriced i recently stayed at saffronstays lonavala and, while the experience had its good moments, it left me questioning the value for money. here’s a breakdown of my stay: pros: • serene location: the cottage is tucked away in a peaceful setting, perfect for those looking to escape the city’s hustle. • comfortable rooms: the room was well-maintained, clean, and cozy. the ambiance was relaxing, which added to the charm of the stay. cons: 1. overpriced accommodation. i expected more amenities or a luxurious experience. a more reasonable price would be ₹6,000–₹8,000 per night, including taxes. 2. lack of dining options: there is no on-site restaurant, and you’re limited to whatever they prepare. given that zomato or swiggy don’t deliver there, you have no alternative dining choices. 3. tent dining experience: all meals are served in a tent, and there is no room service for food. while the tent dining may have been intended to be rustic, it felt inconvenient, especially at this price point. 4. cost of food: they charge around ₹3,000 per day for two people. while that isn’t exorbitant, the quality and variety didn’t match the cost. it felt overpriced given the options available. conclusion: saffronstays lonavala offers a peaceful getaway with comfortable rooms, but the high price tag and lack of dining flexibility make it hard to recommend at its current rates. if they lowered the price or included better dining options and services, it would be a more attractive choice.

Stay was very good especially the food made by maharaj dubey ji. Feels like homemade. 5 star to food but it is little expensive. The property is located on the top of the hill which is perfect for rainy season. Spacious balcony and bathtub. Staff is courteous.

. The property was very good. Good for a short holiday. Food was very delicious. Service was good. Akshay and anil were always there if i needed anything. Will definitely plan to visit again and also recommend friends and family.

Overall experience was good. Location is very nice and peaceful. Food is average, not as per expectation, only issue is there was no signal and our wifi was also not working so we have to struggle for the connectivity.

We had a fantastic. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
