worst experience of my life, Its for the 1st time i have seen that toilet is a floor below ur room, costed me plate for dinner we slept in actual insect . insects every where..... the air con did not work the whole night.....

Property is run by folks with no experience in hospitality. Overpriced . The photos and the reality are not in sync. Difficult for us to trust the Saffron Stays brand

Bad service and stay location

Amazing place, very well maintained, good and clean rooms, good service, polite and helpful staff, had a great time.

Property location is too worse. It’s totally outside of the main road & the connection to properties very poor. The room which allotted to us is the end corner of Property. Our room is at around fourth floor and there is no lift. staircase is outside of the property which we have to climb like a tracking on a hill. Bathroom is outside the room like Chawl.

Experience was good and location is very peaceful. Villa is very beautiful.

Forcing to turn off outside lights , welcome water bottle were charged, asked for extra 5000₹ deposit.

It is situated quite inside, preferable to travel by your personal vehicle. The property was well maintained. it had a calm and peaceful vibe. However some amenities need maintenance - eg: AC. The staff is very kind and helpful and made us feel welcome.

It’s completely unsatisfactory experience based on what details provided and actual facility here, torn blanket, uncomfortable mattress, basic amenities missing in washroom, no security, looks it will be difficult in case of any emergency or required medical support, also price has been charged exuberantly higher, this resort is available exactly at half price in the same day i am staying. It’s work in progress resort. Instagram vedio of this property misleading and far from the actual reality. Looking forward to get the support in refund of higher amount charged or cancel the booking for tomorrow and refund the complete amount for a day. Looking forward for your positive response. Thanks

Stay experience is good but a bit far from beach. Food served is also delicious. Road to stay can be better.

the room was smelling very badly insects were all around us i was feeling afraid to sleep it has bited us during sleeping they were all roaming near our bed blankets and yes the blankets and bed sheets were so old it was itching us !! and at during dinner at ground floor the room were seem to like it was opened after years!! it was smelling badly too while having dinner also many insects were died fallen on the ground near our table. All the insects visited in our room during nights i was with my wife and 2 years old daughter who was unable to sleep definetely

It was a really nice place to enjoy with family, the staff is very polite and helpfull. The food was home-cooked and very delicious. Enjoyed the overall trip.

Disgusting Rooms: We booked their "Glass Room," which is literally a joke! It’s a cheaply thrown-together terrace room with low-quality windows that barely close, letting all the bugs and creepy crawlies in. The curtains reeked of mildew, stained with what looked like FUNGUS! It’s like they haven't been washed in months! Insect-Infested, Rotten Conditions: Cockroaches everywhere, insects crawling on the bed, and the bedsheets looked like they’d been used for 10 days straight. And guess what? They had the audacity to provide EXPIRED coffee and sugar pouches. No Attached Bathroom: Imagine paying so high and having to go OUTSIDE for the toilet. There’s no bathroom in the "Glass Room"—you need to walk outside. Completely unacceptable. Horrifying Service: The caretaker made us feel like we were being held hostage. The moment we raised concerns, they started getting aggressive, and we felt harassed. SaffronStays didn’t lift a finger to help! Their so-called customer care didn’t care at all. Unsafe, Haunted Location: This place is so far from the main city and beaches that if something happens to you, NO ONE will hear you scream. It’s isolated, creepy, and straight out of a horror movie. Pathetic Food Situation: Forget luxury—these guys tell you to order food SIX HOURS in advance! And then they bring it from their homes! Overpriced like a 5-star but tastes like something made in a village kitchen. Don’t even get me started on the swimming pool—it’s a useless prop, just for show. Hidden Terms & Extortion: They don’t tell you upfront about the security deposit, and the booking process is shady with lots of undisclosed terms. Every step felt like punishment. DO NOT GO. Especially if you’re a couple or family. It’s not just terrible—it’s DANGEROUS. Save your money, sanity, and safety—

The room had a very bad smell/no cleanliness/food is very good. The condition is so bad that it is not suitable to go back and cannot recommend to anyone.

Pros: good property, staff was helping, very nice food, cons: location of property is not good and far away from beach and ac was only in one room hence it was uncomfortable for next room

Nice and calm place to hangout with your love once’s or family. I was staying in glass house which i hated the most first of all it’s on the 4 floor and the only way is staircase and on the other side they don’t have bathrooms attached, we have to come all way down. Then most importantly food is charged 1500k person just for local food. That’s outrageous. Then the road for reaching here is very dangerous it’s like off reading best for thar and other suv. I hit my bumper 3 times. And the rooms and cottages are quite ordinary so please it’s a waste of money. I am sad to say the worst property of saffron-stays

This was a really terrible experience: 1. They didn’t mentioned their terms and conditions booking which not refundable. 2. They mentioned barbecue, post booking they said it is not operable. 3. They didn’t have wifi or tv cable they kept on giving excuses. 4. They do bot have in house restaurant, they will give you limited options which they will cook at their home or bring it from nearby home. The food quality is pathetic and it is always served cold. And the price was soy high. 5. The most expensive Glass room, doesn’t have attached bathroom, you to go one floor down and water pressure was very low… it took 20mins to fill a bucket. 6. All rooms were smelly and lot bugs were there. 7. The worst part is even after charging so much they will ask you for deposit money post booking, which is refundable but they make sure to charge for food around the same amount or more than that. This places has nothing but a room to sleep, you should not pay more than 1000 for this. I can write even more but can’t spend a minute thinking over this horrible place.

The stay and location was really amazing. We stayed in the glass house. It was simply awesome. Food you don't have many option and have to inform the care taker 1 day prior then only they will make it. And has very limited item in the menu. The service was overall okay. In glass room there is no room service so one has to come down 3 floors for everything they need. There is no hotel in the nearby 7 kms radius. So plan accordingly. Also the glass room requires a lot of repairing. Then maximum of the french window locks are broken, the main door stoper alignment is not at all proper so it becomes difficult to lock the door.

Though location is good. Room conditions are bad. We booked cottage ac was not working properly. Doors are very bad conditions. Only good part is food quality and taste. Also staffs are very helpful. They take care of their guests.
