Great quaint little stay, very clean, very Udupi

This property is one of the best to stay in Udupi with an authentic local setup, but everything is clean and well kept. It is quiet and beautiful and also pet friendly. The only critic would be the last 800-900m of approach road is quite narrow and can be troublesome for some people, but, once you go through it, you will get the hang of it. Other than that the place is great, has AC power back up and all amenities. Special shout out to Kumar who manages this place. He is a gem

1. Last 2-3 KMS approach road is vert small. 2. Food is expensive for what they provide. 3. Basic amenities.4. Very clean kudos to their house keeping staff.

worst place ever, should not be offered by MM

After reaching here with great difficulties only could bear it for 30 min and had to opt out and find some other place of stay, this property wasn't worthy of being on MMT, opt it if you want to stay at servent quarter! The place was just a namesake of a hotel, it was merely a homestay that too didn't kept well. Rooms are full of mosquitoes, excessively moist and dingy rooms. Room latches were not working. In total except name there was nothing worthy. The place in total was a mess and the pictures on MMT site are just to fool customers.

Good quote property on the back waters. The last 1km road to the property is very narrow (6ft wide) so do take into account for driving. Food served by onsite staff. Very courteous and helpful staff. You may enjoy the patio right on the river bank also which has a table and 4 chairs set up. Rooms are clean and tastefully done.

overall stay was good , but I was disappointed with customer service of saffron stays. I tried reaching them on the day of chrck out as I wanted to extend my stay. But I didn't receive any response from the call also from Chatbot. Very disappointed with that. Other than that stay was tooo good a experience. Before the booking the service was different but once booked I received this issue. No complaints with the stay and the place and worker there. wonderfull 5/5

Location - Amazingly located with river all along and beaches nearby. Between nature and maintained property. Food - Loved the home cooked Mangalore style food. Had lunch and breakfast. Amenities - Can improve with time. Water pressure in washrooms were a concern for me but remaining was good and ample. Services - Decent services and very helpful staff.

unpleasant stay, not worth it.

Property location is super bad, very secluded and narrow road. Food is okay, there are no amenities, caretaker doesn’t care about hospitality. Will not tell you anything, which road to take etc. he is only worried about all the timings which property has set for you. For Women and Girl gang strict no. Room is pathetic, you will just feel heat, heat and heat by 24hrs.

The property is accurately described on all platforms, and the approach road, location, and amenities are clearly communicated prior to booking..Our caretaker provides timely assistance and guidance to every guest, and we have not received similar concerns regarding hospitality or safety. The rooms are regularly maintained, cleaned, and ventilated as per standard protocols, and no issues of extreme heat or discomfort have been observed.
