We loved our stay at suvarna sangam udupi for so many reasons. I fell in love with the pictures that i saw before even booking the place. I had wanted to visit udupi for the longest time and i'm glad we chose a place that's different from the regular commercial properties. Suvarna sangam is a breath of fresh air and it all boils down to a beautiful location by the backwaters, a lovely staff to take care of you (special mention to prasad shetty and kumar, the caretakers, and the sumptuous meals that you are served. The cottage where we stayed was very spacious, clean, had a nice view. The property itself is a little ways inside from the main road and though it can get a bit challenging when you have another vehicle coming from the opposite side, we really enjoyed taking walks on the path and exploring the area. We couldn't have asked for a better 2-day vacation away from the city life.

At the backwaters of the river, our experience at this property is just wonderful. Being close to the nature and glaring the splashing waters in the darkness is a beautiful unique experience. We sat at the deck for hours facing backwaters. Fortunately that day and night sky was crystal clear. You can watch sunrise from the deck. For sunset you can go to delta beach which is just 30 minutes’ drive. The sunset was a such a scenic beauty. After years i saw the big orange ball drowning in the sea. Near the hanging bridge (30 minutes from the property) you can go for boating as well. Tasty and sumptuous meals were served three times as per your choice. Staff were very courteous and friendly. Even if you do not have the vehicle you don’t have to bother. On call auto or taxi was arranged with meter rate which is a very reasonable one.

Our stay at suvarna sangam saffron-stays was very comfortable. The process of booking was easy. Mr. Prasad shetty was very helpful in sending the location, information about the property itself and also about nearby places to visit. The road to the place is very good and picturesque. The cottage we stayed at was spotlessly clean. The staff including mr. Ravikumar was very polite and efficient. Food was simple and tasty. They had arranged dinner for ur on a machan like balcony onlooking river. Overall it was a very good experience. Nice weekend getaway. We did kayaking at nearby kemmannu hanging bridge. The tv in the room has working netflix! although the connection was a bit slow. But the natural beauty at and around the place does make one forget the gadgets and netflix.

Staying at suvarna sangam, udupi was an absolute delight. Location was amazing, surrounded by coconut trees, sitting area on the backwater and overall very well maintained. We had booked shambhavi for couple of nights. Room and bathroom was neat and clean. The host's (manoj) hospitality was exceptional, providing thoughtful touches and local tips that enhanced our experience. The comfortable accommodation coupled with delicious homemade meals made it a memorable stay. I highly recommend suvarna sangam for a peaceful and authentic retreat. Only one suggestion please include few options for snacks in the evening and also for lunch/dinner considering the taste of people from different parts of india.

Suvarna sangam resort is a hidden gem. The stay was amazing and the hospitality was great. The staff was very courteous and available all the time, making the entire experience very smooth. The food was incredibly delicious, with a variety of dishes to choose from. The property manager, mr. Prasad shetty, was a very humble and responsible person who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and easy. The property is located just by the river, providing a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall cleanliness of the property. I highly recommend suvarna sangam resort for a relaxing and enjoyable stay with a beautiful view.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. That's the summary of my review. I stayed in the netravalli villa for 2 days. Pros: very beautiful villa, spacious, very near and clean, very well maintained, has the old and authentic charm intact, in the midst of lush green trees and foliage, has the backwater running directly in fron of the property, have two decks on the property to enjoy the backwaters, excellent food, very helpful staff ( kumar and family, prasad is also very approachable, have a tv in the room, cute old windows, lovely weather cons: access road is difficult, property is little isolated from the main areas ( but that can be interpreted as the charm of it also. Definitely going back.

This has been one of my best home stay experiences, nestled right in nature's lap. Right from the location to the courteous hosts, everything is just so on point. Because it's situated on the banks of Suvarna river, take a day off and spend entirely on the property. The hosts are gracious enough to arrange your all meals and even high tea according to your taste. Only thing that worried us was traveling to this property. Although Google map would take you to the right place but having some sign boards might just help the guests more. In a nutshell, very satisfying and comforting experience.

It was good and fine to stay there and all the other things cleanliness was also good and fine. It was something good& awesome experience.

Very peaceful serene destination. Charming villas. Clean and spacious room and washroom. Had a very pleasant weekend. The food is simple and tasty. Mr. Prasad shetty, the manager, was very helpful and made sure that our stay was comfortable. This was my second trip to saffron stays, suvarna sangam out of many more to come!

Very tastefully done rooms. Simple and tasty food, very warm and welcoming staff! prasad manages the place very efficiently. We spent a whole day lying on the matts near the river. It was just so quiet and soulful. We ate breakfast on the decks. Kumar was very helpful in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Serene location. Tastefully crafted decor. Blend of old houses with modern amenities. Fixed meal menu but quite tasty. Kudos to the team, keep up the good work.

Located in interiors of udupi this place is best for a relaxing vacation with friends and family with a scenic view of suvarna lake. Rooms are well maintained and it gives you a glimpse of the mangalorean culture. Malpe, kapu, delta point and few other tourist places are just 15 mins away from the SaffronStays Suvarna Sangam. The SaffronStays Suvarna Sangam staff made our stay memorable. Kumar and ravi the SaffronStays Suvarna Sangam caretakers were very cordial and welcoming. Thank you for this great experience!

We had a very good time and the entire staff was more friendly and made us feel like a family. Only drawback is its too interior but location is well placed and nearby to all beaches and temples.

Location of the property is much interior. But it may not be an issue. You will reach there by your own car or by auto rickshaw. Food prepared by them is too good and the quantity they served is more than enough for 2 people. Hygiene and safety regulations are maintained.

The property is situated on the banks a river which makes the location beautiful and serene. To be honest you can actually spend the whole day chilling at the property. Special mention to the caretaker Kumar bhaiya n family who are very helpful and sweet. They made sure that we had everything whenever needed. Food was just delicious. Make sure you eat breakfast and dinner at the property as they make lovely local food 😍
