Sahara Grand Hills nearby Dal Lake

Very isolated location, no shops around. Walls are peeling. Few food options, there are much much better hotels in srinagar for the same price.

Excellent service by Hotel and MMT. In short notice Hotel considered our cancellation which was due to flight cancellations and refunded our amount even though as per policy cancellation time was over. They only called us, understood our concern and said we will refund you don't worry. Really appreciable. Make My Trip support was awesome.

It was pleasant stay at the property, everything is just supereb, staff was very co operative. Service is too fast

The hotel looks great and the staff are awesome. But unfortunately the room was not great. The bathroom especially was badly maintained with the mirror hanging down. The knobs of the washbasin were also super tight. Also, mmt showed it as deluxe room with ac but the room had no ac. Thougut it wasn't required in the night, it would have definitely helped during the morning time as it was pretty warm. Overall 5* for the staff but only 2* for the room.

Stayed here for 2 days in the peak of summer. As per mmt's amenities list the hotel had ac, however on reaching the hotel, i figured out that the property does not have ac. It is very hot in srinagar during this part of the year and the hotel room did not have any cross ventilation. Upon requesting mm t to refund my booking amount, they refused. Henceforth, one needs to check with the hotel directly before booking because mm t is not trustworthy. The hotel staff is very good and polite.

A decent 3 star hotel near dal lake ghat 7. Room was good with heating facility and hot water was also available. It felt warm even when it was snowing outside of hotel. Breakfast could have had more options. Only bread and pratha was available.

I visited this property since it was recommended by a colleague who had stayed with family back in 2019. Service was so good back then. It's a complete downfall from there. I do understand now why it's rated 3/5 in google. Rooms are good and spacious, so is the washroom. That's it. Service is the worst. No hot water, no wifi. In srinagar, when nothing works except for local sim, you depend on hotel wifi for communication. Here, they don't even recharge for the internet and when asked they say, we don't have internet for a day, please manage. Food, pols have from outside. I think street food is much much better than this. Stay at your own risk here. I wish i had a zero star rating available.
