1. Price is too high 2.staff behaviour is bad 3.bedsheet was torned 4.You have to call the reception to turn on the water geaser.

Hygiene is a big concern in this property. One can find unclean bedsheet, pillow covers, towels. Have visited twice and find the same on my both visits. Even the room have dust in the tables.

A decent and safe accomodation

I had stayed here along with my parents for a night while travel-ling to kurseong. The hotel is quite near to njp railyway station. The rooms were clean. The staff is very courteous. They were also very helpful in getting us car rentals for our trip. The driver who took us around was very accommodating and patient. Thanks to him, it was a hassel free travel with my parents. I would definitely put up at sahar lodge if i have to halt at njp anytime in near future.

familyIt is a very nice halt destination while you are going for a tour to darjeeling, gangtok, dooars and many more places connected to njp. Very neat and clean and specious with all amenities. Foods are also very tasty.

The plus point for this hotel is its location, which is very near to the njp roy station and availability of public transportation all day. But one thing i would like to mention about its toilet which is not western style but angle type which is a discomfort for many.

Behavior of staff was very good, though the room (133) size was not big but adequate, linens was not properly washed and too old & torn. No lift facility for 4th floor structure.

One of the worst hotels i have been to. Booked ac room through makemytrip for rs 1925 per night. Reached the hotel at around 8 pm and my nightmare started. It was late, i was tired and didn't have the energy to search for a different hotel. The room was small, cramped and dimly lit. The ac was surprisingly set to 26 celcius and the guest cannot control it but the manager does so according to his wish and will not give heed to your request to change temperature. The bed was creaking and bedsheet had several holes in it. Not even a bottle of drinking water was provided. Toilet was unsanitary and simply put dirty. No toilet accessories were provided apart from one towel.

The hotel promises 24 hours service however it is untrue. The room was small with no ventilation, dirty linen and the washroom was awfully dirty. Not even worth booking for 1 day
