Saiba Cottage | Valley-view Rooms

I believed that simla couldn't give me anymore warmth than what i already felt from this dear city. We lived here for more than 3+ years afterall. However, this homestay cum home, made us feel exactly that- warmth! everything here was so very pretty- flowers, rooms, interactions, view! we travel-led as two females, a little sceptical about this new place, however; from the very first phone call a rapport was established. We stayed for a day, yet, we interacted like close companions and more that anything, we interacted just like real fellow humans. This is what this place gives you, a real chat and conversation with yourself- a beautiful inner peace. We will come back. So, until next time.

Owner of the property Mr. Mahinder Kumar is a true gentleman. He is very sweet and polite. Caretaker of the property Bittu is also a very sweet person. This home-stay is around 7 km away from old bus stand and is in new Shimla. The balcony view of room is just awesome. Place is distant from main busy city which is a plus point for people like me who prefer silence. At night I was in balcony and view from it was just awesome with pin-drop silence. Not only next time instead every-time whenever I will visit Shimla I will stay here only. Loved it.

I definitely recommend this cottage. It genuinely feels like home, Mahendra uncle who is the owner of the cottage, took great care of us. Everyone in the cottage were so helpful and friendly. We were provided a room with a balcony, the view from there was so beautiful. The location is so calm and peaceful and is easily accessible from the Mall Road. We didn't had to worry about food, since uncle provided us with proper home cooked meal. Overall I will rate the place 11 out of 10 in every aspect.

It was very clean, and the hospitality is good, has the home made food facility which is good too. Just that it is not in the city center, little off by 5km, should go for it, if you don't mind that.

The host is excellent. The balcony is very artistic and offers a view of the valley. Washrooms are clean and tidy. Rooms are as in pictures. It's situated in a peaceful residential area of the city.

We so loved this cottage, the owner of this property, ma-hinder kumar is so helpful and kindhearted person. Will love to stay there again in the next trip to shimla.

Hotel is very far from mall Road. But very peaceful and view was very excellent. There very less mode of transport. Food was good like home.
