Sakrebyle Elephant Camp by Jungle Lodges

Sakrebyle Elephant Camp is a fantastic destination for elephant lovers and nature enthusiasts! Located 14 km from Shimoga in Karnataka, this camp is managed by Jungle Lodges and Resorts and offers a unique opportunity to interact with elephants.

On arrival Shri Ramesh was waiting for us who engaged with us and gave information on the property and activities to be done. Kitchen and back end staff made us feel welcome. A good stay and value for money.

Sakrebyle stay was amazing, at that place in the jungle the hospitality was at the best. They made every possible thing feel as home. The tents were very clean, neat and tidy. The washrooms were stain free and clean. The food variety was good and served hot with lot of love it was served. Woww wat a stay...It was just beautiful...my 3 year old kid has enjoyed a lot seeing elephants, feeding them, taking blessings from elephants, bathing elephants, forest trek was really very good. Coming to food , they provide both veg and non veg in lunch and dinner and it's unlimited with variety of dishes. Breakfast too had too many options. Staff is really good , they treat and each and every guest with utmost care. During firecamp they provide yummy warm soup...kids can enjoy playing trampoline, burma bridge and other play activities. Over it was very good stay... Must visit. Host Suresh is very good in guiding... 5

It was good weather was too good, the trecking was very good. The food was good, it was freshly prepared and they gave required facilities. The overall was good experience.

Very nice single day stay. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The cottages are cozy with basic eminities. The limelight is the elephant interaction both in the lodge area and near the backwaters. The boat ride in the evening over the Tunga backwaters is also good.

We had an incredible stay at Sakrebyle Jungle Lodge! The lodge is nestled in a picturesque forest setting, surrounded by towering trees and the soothing sounds of nature. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The staff especially Mrs.Salma and Mr.Suresh were extremely friendly and knowledgable and they went out of our way to ensure that we had a memorable stay. The food at the lodge was delicious and varied, with a focus on local ingredients and cuisine. The highlight of our stay was the elephant interaction program, where we got to bathe these majestic creatures. It was a truly unforgettable experience! Overall, we would highly recommend Sakrebyle Jungle Lodge to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable jungle experience.
