Hotel salotel - detailed review

We had booked our stay at hotel salotel for 1 night. Property location: property is situated on the main road. The road to the entrance is a bit narrow if you have a bigger vehicle. Parking is available at the property. Check-in : i had booked my stay through mm t and they had an intimation about the same. When i reached the hotel there was no one in the reception. I had to wait for 10 min till they finished their lunch. If you book through any travel app you will be given separate rooms and if you book directly, you will be given good rooms. We had booked an economy room with breakfast and we were given room on the second floor. There is no lift in the property. As my wife has knee issues we requested a room on the ground floor. The owners were kind enough to give a room on the ground floor. Cleanliness: rooms are neat and clean. Toiletries were given. Bath towels were available. Hot water was not continuously coming. The swimming pool was closed for maintenance which were not notified at the time of booking. The swimming pool is very small. Food: we had a chance to taste only breakfast. We had three options to choose from bread ommlette, poha or upma. We had bread ommlette and upma, both were good. Overall it was an average stay for me.

We had a pretty bad check in experience ( we waited for 50 mts) and no proper response from the staff, no room telephone is working, only one charging point is available etc
