Samode Haveli

This is by far my favourite Hotel in Jaipur. Run as a charitable enterprise, the Samode Haveli employs local staff from under privileged backgrounds. However, if you are looking for fancy rooms, and uber luxury, give this place a miss. But if you want to enjoy peace and quiet, and your holiday is made more they people you meet, and the experiences you have, and not so much by the softness of you pillows, you won’t regret staying here. Rooms; the rooms are basic but charming. There is no Ac in keeping with the Samode Haveli’s green policy, and it can get a little warm during the power cuts. The room are however extremely clean, and beautifully furnished. The bathrooms have showers powered with hot water which is solar heated and cute traditional steel buckets and mugs to bathe with if you are really keen on conserving water. The food is a mix of standard north Indian, and indianized chinese, and nothing to really write home about if you are used to Indian food. However, please note that Im not in any way complaining about the quality –merely saying it isn’t exceptional. However, the food at the Samode Haveli coffee shop is outstanding, and the girls at counter will warm your heart.

Our stay at samode haveli has a bit of a mixed feeling. While the property is pretty and the rooms are very comfortable and beautiful, the service was a bit of a question. The staff on arrival was very courteous, true to the spirit of rajasthan. We were helped very sweetly by simran at the reception. However for personal reasons we had to cut short our trip and return home, which when conveyed to the Samode Haveli reception was not received very well. I was very curtly told to deal with mm t saying the Samode Haveli can't do anything about it. Least i expected from someone specially from the hospitality industry is empathy and understanding. I was treated as if i was asking for some compensation. Don't think i would like to come here again. Though i still maintain the property is nice

Amazing place and beautiful surrounding atmosphere. Very warm, friendly and helpful staff. Everything about the Samode Haveli is exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Food was very tasty and good and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Excellent aesthetics, best entry experience, very good landscaping, excellent food. Very courteous staff. Location in midst of a very crowded area. Driving to the property can be harrowing experience. But once inside, its heaven. Also check your room floor level. No lifts. If you are weak on knees, you had it.

We had an excellent stay at samode haveli, with the warm hospitality of its staff and the beautifully preserved royal heritage. The haveli restaurant was top class, and the morning buffet offered a delicious assortment of dishes. A definite recommendation if you are visiting jaipur!

Very authentic haveli inside the pink city. Quiet and peaceful even though close to all the attractions. Very courteous and friendly staff. I particularly appreciated the no tipping policy. The ambience of the grounds was chill

Its a beautiful place to stay in jaipur. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Common areas like pool side and drawing hall are must visit.

One of the biggest achievements of a property is to have repeated guests and samode nails it! this was the 2nd time we visited the place and planning for the 3rd one )

The staff was very cooperative, they upgraded our room since we checked in late. Even at full occupancy, food was available 24*7. Overal beautiful place and totally worth the money.

Beautiful property. It was so peaceful inside the Samode Haveli premises. The food was delicious and we loved the pool!
