Pros: 1.Reception and corridors were clean 2.Lift facility is there 3.All facilities are there in a room with budgeted cost 4.They are helping us to choose room of our choice 5.Walkable distance central railway station(approx 500m) Cons: 1. In side room, it was not very clean 2. They could change the towel . It was looking like have been used for longer period of time Overall it's okay to stay for a budgeted cost. Need to improve in cleanliness inside the room

Near to Chennai Central Railway station, cheapest & the best, ideal for short stay, however, they have no own kitchen/ restaurant facilities, hence they arrange room service for food from other restaurants. Surrounded by so many good vegs./ non-veg. restaurants. In non AC rooms, lack of proper ventilation. Good behavior & helpful staff and management. Tourists may purchases steel utensils from steel wholesalers/ retailers at nearby Mint street.

Whenever I am coming to Chennai I am continuously staying at the same Samudra Residency since last 7 years. For solo travelers it is very nice Samudra Residency, 400 meter from Chennai Central. 500 meters from Chennai Central Metro Station. Hotel is neat and clean. Staff is good. Good value for money if you are a solo traveler.

It is a good place around 200-300 meters from the chennai central station. It is a very preferable place if you are on a short visit to chennai. Affordable for 1 2 night stays. No food but the staff will bring food if you want. No sevice. Room size and cleanliness js good. Size is also good. Overall 4. 7 stay out of 5

Actually this is my first booking done through makemytrip. Its so easy to use and the stay was good the room was clean and well maintained the staffs were very nice and they have helped me on things whenever i ask. Allover it was great experience. I stayed for one day as a solo traveler. The room was small but adequate for up to 2 people visiting on a budget. The Samudra Residency is a short walk from chennai central and is not difficult to locate. The staff were courteous and well behaved. Overall a value stay on a budget.

Had a two day stay with the family. The staff behavior was polite. Location is nice in terms of proximity to the railway station (chennai central and egmore.
Staffs had masks, social distancing was being followed.

Location closer to central railway station, accessibility good, staff good, being old property maintenance not up to the mark, toilet very small stained and old, linen, cot, pillow, bed are old
