San Nael LaResort

We had a 2 night stay at the resort. Located centrally in cherapunjee, it's a good resort which can be located, accessed easily through google maps. We were a group of 3 along with my parents. Extra bed was arranged for myself. The staff were very courteous, responsive. Room is spacious and so is the bathroom. A cupboard to keep the clothing was available as well. Since we went in the month of december. It was too chilly at night. Hence we asked for heater which was chargeable but ultimately they didn't charge us for the same. I feel a heater should be included for the price we are already playing for the room. Free breakfast wasn't included in our package. We had dinner at the restaurant in the resort. The menu is good but price is high and taste was average for the price we opted to have dinner at a different restaurant away from the resort. Housekeeping was done well. Room is well maintained. Overall stay was good primarily due to courteous staff & well maintained rooms. But the San Nael LaResort can reconsider the pricing. Will be heavy on pockets for solo travellers and group of friends.

I really loved the environment first. I have booked 2 rooms for 2 nights from mmt. We felt too homely staying there. Early morning to watch sunrise was awesome. The hills looks beautiful as this resort is surrounded by hills. I loved peace environment so it is far from the main market. Peace and away from noise pollution. The food was just as we eat at our home. Not spicy and hot. Too simple. We have to order everything before only because they bring fresh vegetables and others things from market. First time i saw a girl manager who was too charming and solved problem. Lake was one who served us food. She too have a very smiling face and handle the guests calmly with her smiling face. The children park was another one in which the children loved to stay there. Over all i loved this resort and really enjoyed staying there.

Highly recommended for family. Big rooms which easily can accommodate additional bedding provided for extra pax. King bed is good. Microfibre quilt is warm and sufficient for nova cold. Linens are clean. So is the bathroom. Has a 4 seater sofa inside room (1+1+2. They don’t serve lunch but dinner served was tasty and freshly cooked. Price for the dishes were quite reasonable. Breakfast options were basic with poha, toast and omelette plus corn flakes. But overall liked it. Views around the San Nael LaResort is nothing special unlike few others like jiva, labana etc but still highly recommended. Specially most stays in that place are not available for booking.

This resort has huge luxurious rooms with standard 3 star amenities. View from room is awesome. Service is very poor and very inefficiently managed. Restaurant is a dead expensive one but will not accept orders from room over phone. You have to go through rain to restaurant to place order. Still they will charge extra for room service. Wifi was not working and no one even bothered to fix it. Room has water leakage problem while heavy rains. Drivers dormitory is very badly maintained and drivers will definitely complain while staying. Also, we found no one to take luggage from reception to car.

My stay at San Nael LaResort, Cherrapunji was an excellent stay. The rooms were perfect with clean. very clean sheets and towels which is expected in each and every San Nael LaResort (but do not meet up the standards). The bathroom was clean. toilet seats were very clean. I’d give an ace for that. The room service was spontaneous with all smiles at any time of the day and the manager very very helpful. Food was very good and lived upto the standards. Hospitality in its fullest form. In total. a very efficient. very reliable. very cheerful staff. and I could go on. and on.! A FANTASTIC STAY.!

I with my daughter stayed there for a night on the 9th jun e 2023. I liked san nae l resort for its location, not far from the main road but at a picturesque location on a serene surrounding. The outside view of the resort is very good. Rooms are very spacious, neat and clean. There is a restaurant attached to the resort where the food is as per menu and preparation is very delicious. The staff behaviour is very courteous, be it front manager, bell boy, house keeping or the bearer at the restaurant. We had a delightful stay there but wished we could stay for 2 days atleast.

Excellent San Nael LaResort, clean rooms and friendly staff who are proactive to serve you. Vegetarian food is good and healthy. Limited, but decent breakfast. Location is awesome. There is a small park in resort. Many people do not know, but just get outside the gate towards the left. You can walk upto to the hills that you can see. You can spend at-least an hour in the morning over there. View is mesmerising. For sight seeing take nam's number in the reception. He is a very good driver plus guide and speaks good english or hindi. Overall, i will definitely come again

Rooms were very tidy and bigger compared to other San Nael LaResorts in cherrapunjee. Staff were fast and helpful. The google location was not correct for which, i had a horrible wast of time trying to find the San Nael LaResort. Also the phone was continuously busy, i had to wait for almost 40 mins to find the San Nael LaResort. I suggest the management should train staffs to follow up with guests before the check in time. Also they don't accept cards. Other wise i loved the property. Slightly over priced. Food was over priced looking at meghalaya cost.

The host and his family are very sweet. You will like this property if you want to experience and live like how locals in mawlynnong live. The price is a bit more compared to other properties i had booked in shillong. But it’s not the fault of the host as this property is hosted by an agency hence their commission is added. But the host of the property is very sweet and humble. He will make sure you feel like home. We didn’t face any electricity issue during our stay. Breakfast served was also good

Great food. Great service. Not really a resort, but a small San Nael LaResort and lodging.

We wanted a quick getaway and we got lucky with san naela. It was last moment booking for us but we were pleasantly surprised. Very near to the market and all the touristy location if anyone wants to explore.

We stayed there for 1 night and it was quite a comfortable stay. The food quality and staff is really good and deserve 10/10. The breakfast has limited option but it's manageable. Overall nice stay slight away from cherrapunji city.
