Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, stunning View of Mighty Karakoram Range, with friendly and helpful staff. The architect of Hotel is also different from other property with fusion of Ladakhi style and modern style. The Sand Dunes Retreat is very near to Shayok River and Sand Dunes walking distance. The Room are very good with good facilities with big balcony and nice service. The special thing we really appreciate is their Food with good varieties of food , even at such difficult terrains. On the other side of Hotel they have big orchard of Apricot and Apple trees. We really want to book for one more night but they were sold out for the next day. They provide such amazing personalized service that one would never want to leave. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Nubra Valley. Thank You 😊 Julley Ji!

We stayed at this property on 11th jun e, 2024 as a couple and i must confess this is one of the best property to spend your vacation in nubra valley. The Sand Dunes Retreat has all basic amenities, the rooms were large enough and having balcony for your nature viewing. The place it is located in free from any noises and you can devote yourself to nature if you are nature loving person. The Sand Dunes Retreat staffs are very friendly and helpful. My big thanks for the lady and the gentleman sits at the reception for helping me out to solve some problem. The owner of the property mr. Son-am was a thorough gentleman and a very kind person. I strongly recommend fellow travelers to stay here.

The Sand Dunes Retreat was close to sand dunes. We were welcomed very nicely with beverages the rooms were clean and spacious with hot running water the buffet dinner was very good too we told the Sand Dunes Retreat manager that we will be leaving at 6 am for pangong. She said she will keep breakfast to go for us. It was very sweet of her to get some sandwiches, fruits and juices packed for us at 6am.

We stayed here for 2 days to explore nubra valley. Really well maintained property with spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff was really hospitable and would go the extra mile to put on a smile on clients. The dinner buffet was satisfying and best in the locality. There is a bonfire in the night which was really warming and made the stay delightful as we made new friends.

Nice comfortable one night stay. Hotel is recently renovated so rooms are clean. Nice compact bathroom. Dinner and breakfast options are good considering the location. Feel it is slightly on the expensive side considering the amount we paid but as aug is peak season costs were similar all around. Staff is courteous and go outtnof the way to make you stay comfortable.

Property is beautiful and has good floral and vegetation around. Rooms were well maintained but could work more on hygiene and cleanliness. Food was decent enough and had both veg and nonveg options.

Took a family suite, room was quite spacious and room service was quick, only issue was, as Sand Dunes Retreat doesn't have a lifft and room was at 2nd floor

Newly built property with all essential amenities. Power back up and hot water is available 24×7. Service was great and the food served there was too good.

I really enjoyed my stay over there. Staff, food, ambience everything this was worth the price. They even let you have fresh fruits from their garden
