Sandalo Castle

The property itself is beautifully built. It’s easily accessible from the main road. The food is also good and reasonably priced. The pool and the area within the property is beautiful. However the maintenance is very bad. The room itself was very small. When we ordered room service, there was no specific space to keep the food. The flush was broken and water was getting wasted. The electrical sockets were bad quality and sparks coming out while we try to plug in mobile charger. The blankets offered had holes in them. The TV was out of service. The bed was really uncomfortable. Room was smelly as we got in. The staff was trying their best, however the management should ensure proper maintenance of the rooms. For the price that was charged, we certainly expected better room quality.

Stay and food was fantastic and nature surrounding resort was mesmerizing..!! This resort, in the belt of Nilgiris, have Couple of beautiful view points, which are worth visiting..

The stay was comfortable the food was good though the options were minimal. Staffs were very friendly too

Very pleasant experience. Staff were friendly, the whole resort is beautifully located.. spacious and neat. It dogged not have AC or fridge but and most of the time it’s not required. Food was delicious

The property is excellent considering the very few options available around Madumalai forest area. On Amenities - it has quite a big swimming pool , kids play area, wish there board room games were better maintained and also would be good if they had functioning mini Gym. Food is good though the menu option is limited , they would serve buffet if there are more guests , if limited number of guests they go with ala carte. Overall good experience

The rooms and the resort was so good. But they have less food options. The resort was full still not much food options there.

Sandalo Castle offers a nice stay with a beautiful location and charming ambiance. While the setting is serene, it is a bit far from major attractions, so plan accordingly. The rooms and surroundings were well-maintained, providing a relaxing experience. However, the breakfast and dinner options could use more variety to cater to diverse tastes. Overall, a pleasant experience with room for improvement in the dining department.

Its a beautiful, well maintained resort. Location is awesome, big swimming pool and plenty of space for kids to play. Breakfast and dinner buffet was very good. Food served was freshly cooked and tasty. Staff is extremely polite and helpful. Large and well maintained rooms. There are no mountain view rooms but it really dint matter. I would like to go back to this resort in future.

Rooms are very comfortable but very small in size. Property is good. Staff is very helpful and kind. Food is good.
