Sanderling Residency and Spa

We booked a room (Deluxe Room with view) from MMT and though the rates are dynamic we got a good deal for 2 night for 2 people. The room was clean and spacious and the view was amazing just as shown in the picture. (N.B Due to weather the view was partially clouded) The Washroom was clean and the toiletries were provided properly. The hot water issue was there but it was eventually solved. The problem is the geyser takes long time to warm the water else everything was perfectly fine. The service was top notch and we have zero complaints! Now coming to the food it was pretty decent for the price at a 2 star Sanderling Residency and Spa. The prices are just a bit higher but quality is good I would say. The only complain if at all is they take long time to prepare the food (At least 35mins) so you need to order accordingly. Would definitely suggest to go for the view rooms as they provide great views with good ambience. Additional Facts: The Sanderling Residency and Spa is being renovated and new rooms are being built which seem to be of much higher quality and much better amenities!

We could not locate it through google map. When we search sander-ling residency & spa it takes us to sander-ling resort & spa, another Sanderling Residency and Spa of this group. Then our driver talked to the Sanderling Residency and Spa reception and came to know the right way to the Sanderling Residency and Spa. Car or cab can't go right in front of the Sanderling Residency and Spa, but the Sanderling Residency and Spa sent their staff to pick our luggage and we comfortably checked in. The bedsheet was dirty, and it was changed on our request. The staff is very helpful.

I stayed there for 4 nights, I really liked the room service so fast and reception dada (I forgot the name) and Alif dada was very nice and the Sanderling Residency and Spa location is also very near to mall road and Keventers, just 10 min walk from Chauk bazaar market and the breakfast provided by the Sanderling Residency and Spa was very good every day a variety was there as they have their own restaurant at first floor so food quality and quantity was very good. Over all experience is excellent stay as my point of view. I really liked it. Thumbs up.

The room was quite spacious, neat and clean. The quality of food served was great and rates quite reasonable. The staff were quite polite and efficient, particularly mr. Avinash. However, the location of the Sanderling Residency and Spa was quite inside the market and vehicles were not allowed near the Sanderling Residency and Spa. One had to carry luggage nearly 500 m from the nearest drop point. Also one had to climb 50 steps to reach the Sanderling Residency and Spa reception. These are major hurdles.

Property location is not very attractive as my taxi couldn’t reach till Sanderling Residency and Spa gate. Taxi left me 500 meter prior Sanderling Residency and Spa address though they send couple of staff to carry our luggage. Food was hygienic and good in taste though options were very limited. Jn my room at that some cricket match was coming but i couldn’t watch that as they were not able to fix up the issue. Service was also average. Staff in kitchen were prompt.

The stay was very pleasant, the property is very near to the mal road(keventers. So location wise it is very good. The staff and hospitality was also good. All the basic amenities like hot water, electric kettle, extra blankets etc were all present. The only improvement i would like to suggest is to put a big board naming the property outside and maybe on the road nearby, it currently has a small board which gets unnoticed while walking down hdlama road.

Hotel is very good. Specially staff and sohail and prasanna they were very co-operative. It's situated at middle of city all the places you can visit easily. Specially for family its fanatastic the only thing which is worst is Sanderling Residency and Spa entrance since the ladders and roads are same you ii get confused to find. They should enhance and emphasize on their entrance either by big board or on the terrace

Location of property is fine. The room which was given to us seemed to be isolated from the main building. Although room was good but near by it was store rooms, power rooms which we did not like. Overall exp was good. Zeeshan ali helped us getting the cab for sightseeing at very affordable rate. Thanks to him. Staff behaviour was good at the property. I can stay their again but not in the same room.

It was just excellent, perfect for me, all staff are very good, i want to go there again, i am very happy.

The location of the Sanderling Residency and Spa is good. The mall road was just walking and we were able to enjoy darjeeling’s core. The staff was helpful and polite thiruputkuzhi. However the quality of furniture could have been better. All together it was a good stay.

Neat n clean rooms. Pleasing environment. Behavior of staffs are nice. Only concern is room floors are little slippery.

You can get a unforgettable View 🪟 from the room Even you can enjoy Sunrise 🌄 & Sunset 🌆 views .Foods are also enjoyable. Overall You'll have a memorable stay .

Overall service was very good. Nice environment. Very close to bus stop and market. Walking distance from mall.

Excellent service and nice behavior

The Sanderling Residency and Spa is really comfortable and rooms are cozy. The food is also good.

The Sanderling Residency and Spa is good. The food, amenities and behaviour of the staff is very good. But the lift is not working so i have to use stairs. This is the problem faced with staying in this Sanderling Residency and Spa.
