This place is a gem hidden among-st the forests of mussorie. We stayed in sthana woodhouse which offers a unique view of the valley and offers a great vantage point for the sunset view. The breakfast was free and it was massively surprise. It was like a kings breakfast and extremely well cooked. The staff comprised of wonderful guys who left no stone unturned in making us feel good. We had 2 pets with us and the Sansa by the Woods - Manor & Spa staff went out of the way to make them comfortable. The woodhouse itself was so spacious with a bunker bed which my daughter loved immensely. The service is truly five star

Staying at sans a by the woods was a memorable experience. The beautiful wood cottage (which included bunk beds for the kids) with its spacious interiors and fabulous views are simply hard to beat. And the location is just perfect, a short exhilarating walk from mall road but away from its bustle and congestion. The outdoor area has heavenly views of the doon valley and dehradun city below in addition to mountains and distant rivers. Finally, i must mention the in-house buraans restaurant for its delicious and varied food, including a special garhwal thali. The breakfast buffet is consistently excellent too.

I stayed here with my family and 2 pets in sthana woodhouse. The room offered excellent view of the valley and the serviced were top notch. The room service was excellent and the food was awesome. The breakfast was very sumptuous and massive, and that too free of cost as it was included in the room tariff. The parking space was decent and the guard managed it quite well. The view and the ambience stood out with lot of greenery all around. The room service guys were very polite and extremely humble. This place offers a much needed solace from usual hustle of city life, will definitely recommend it to others

Beautiful place, easily accessible by car or any vehicle. It's located little away from mall road but amazing view of valley and hills. I am glad i booked this property to avoid the traffic of tourists and buses. The sunset view is unmatchable and staff is very helpful as well as prompt in solving any problem. Also orion spa available at the property at discounted price, which overlooks the forest and gives an amazing experience by professional staff. I would book this stay again for my family and friends. Don't think much if you want a peaceful stay in mussoorie!

Such an amazing place for a staycation. 1. 5km from the main mall road of mussoorie. Spacious rooms ( try opting for the garden view one, clean compound, delicious food & pizza cafe inside the resort itself. Spa service is great. Very amicable staff. Always at your service. Enough parking for 8 cars. Staff also provide u 2 wheeler on rent for a day or two. Just let them know & they arrange it in no time. The restaurant chef is amazing. Breakfast is complementary & delectable. Will come again for sure & stay here only. Highly recommended.

Property location is good . It’s a little walk from Mall Road . We were 6 Females and have taken 3 Asraya lawn view rooms next to each other having a common a big open lawn which was apt for us with a beautiful view and breezy ambience . Hotel staff were amicable and courteous .we all had memorable time. Food is Okay , they have good varieties however at times there were ups and downs but thats fine .It’s hard to get perfect things everytime ! Over all it was a good stay ! I would like to come again … thanks

We visited mussoorie in the 2nd week of jean and booked sthana-the woodhouse. The room is exactly like the images and offers breathtaking views of the mountains. Its spacious and cozy, perfect for the chilly winters. Its well equipped with 2 heaters. The property is lovely, staff is courteous, food is amazing and has great options on their menu including the complimentary breakfast. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for a better deal to celebrate my husband's birthday!

I stayed with my family. Stay was very good. The staff was also very good and supportive. Restaurant food was also perfect. The Sansa by the Woods - Manor & Spa ambience and view all around was perfect. Even the Sansa by the Woods - Manor & Spa manager helped us to arrange a cab for travelling. The only problem was there were lots of monkeys. Rest every thing was good.

Wasn’t happy with the washroom especially the jet part as it had enormous pressure which made it difficult & uncomfortable to use! other things were good considering the pocket friendly tariff. Awesome views from the property, will recommend it as it also has a period feel to it which makes it very different from other properties in the same budget. Breakfast quality was quite good & the staff was also very spontaneous

The Sansa by the Woods - Manor & Spa is good, with beautiful views of the dehradun valley. Situated in very close proximity to picture palace. Rooms are pretty decent, could be better. Food preparations are very good. Would give 4/5, just because rooms could have been better

Definitely one of the best places to stay in mussoorie. Had a lovely stay at this beautiful quiet resort surrounded by dense forest. The dood here is superb too. Especially the thalis. Would definitely recommend.

Property is a bliss but they need to work on their food. The location of this property is good and easy to reach. It has the feels.

Location and ambience of Sansa by the Woods - Manor & Spa is too good. The room that we booked 'aranya' was very big and spacious. Room service was good. Breakfast was included and had a variety of food items
