Santa Maria Hostel Munroe Island

I travelled with my friend on a backpacking trip to Kerala and munroe Island was our first stop. We were pretty late and hence anxious but our host (Nigel) was a total sweetheart. He welcomed us and made us feel at ease. The rooms were fine, I guess. But the atmosphere around the property was to die for. Please do try if you’re staying at the Island. 😊

The place is peaceful and right on the banks of backwaters. very calm and crowd free for a pleasant boating experience. A diverse crowd from several countries make this hostel a good place to vibe and socialize. would really want to come back to this place sometime soon...🙃

Excellent view from the stay. Breakfast included. Manager is so helpful and friendly and make any arrangements if needed

I'm calling to stay in management and ask how come they told me. It is awesome to stay here i felt like home

The hostel is made right beside the backwaters. You can literally get out of your room take 2 steps and jump into the back waters. Its literally the best place to stay if you wanna have a chilled out time lying on one of the hammocks by the waterside!!
