Santiniketan Residency

We stayed in off season, during durga pujo (september end), we were practically the only guests there. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool was also clean. The food quality was acceptable and the stay was pleasant. Location is Shyambati which is 2 km from viswabharati university and close to Sonajhuri.

Located on a main road of the town close to the Vishwa Bharati University (2 km). Has ample open space in spite of being in the town area. You will enjoy the local Bengali cuisine in the restaurant. Staff are polite and helpful.

The room, hygiene, lawn and children's park were all upto the mark. It was a nice comfortable stay, suitable for kids as well. However, we felt the food quality could have been better. There was less crowd during lunch and a lot of crowd during dinner which resulted in poor food quality during dinner as compared to the lunch that was provided. Seating arrangement can be increased for better crowd management as well.

I found Shantiniketan Residency . I booked standard deluxe room although the room was very small as per the standard deluxe capacity. The property is situated in Shyambati, Bolpur which is a nearer location for visiting Shantiniketan, Kopai river, Sonajhuri fair. We had complementary breakfast from Henshel ghor, the attached restaurant. The lunch and dinner was also really good, especially the thalis. The washroom was neither much spacious nor well-cleaned. However, the staffs were very supportive and offered fast services. Overall, it is a nice stay.

as per money the room is a bit expensive. Chinese cooking is just the worst. towel and bedsheet are not clean

It was a very good experience to stay in santiniketan residency. The ambience was excellent, stuffs are well behaved and service also was good. Overall i am satisfied with this stay and i'll recommend people this property for staying.

Location wise its close to all the main attractions in shantiniketan like, vu, khoai are haat, mela are maath. Food is very good and always served hot. You can choose to have it in-room, in the garden or in the restaurant. Hotel staff are very courteous and helpful. The mini swiming pool is also excellent. Great place to be with both family and friends.
