Santiniketan Retreat, Bolpur

The property is excellent, especially the staffs, they are amazing. Food is excellent, feels like homemade. For the property and for the staffs in the Santiniketan Retreat, Bolpur, like housekeeping, restaurants everyone i would rate it 5. But i have one issue with the management decisions. They can bend their rules, not strict. I had an experience, there was a large group checked in sunday, and they were partying in the restaurants till night 3am and making huge noise. It should not be allowed in common place. I was traveling with my 15months old baby, and he was finding it difficult to sleep at such late nights. If for everyone restaurants is closed till 10pm max by 10:30p. Then for a large group how can you bend your rules? how can you allow people to have partying and boozing at such late hours? for the top management decisions i would rate the Santiniketan Retreat, Bolpur as 1. I suggest people that if you don't have any issues with such things, then you can go there, you will get a good property and excellent hospitality from staffs. But if you are traveling with family, it is sceptical, thing twice before you go.

A very good environment. Rooms are very much clean and well designed. The evening cultural event was beautiful. Food servicing was good but taste can be improved a little. All over a beautiful place. Behaviour of staff is very good and caring.

The stay was good, however the food was pretty average. It could have been better. Anyways, it's a nice place to stay for a day or two at shantiniketan. The staff at the resort was helpful and the overall ambience was good.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious food. Beautiful environment. 10/10 definitely recommended. Loved it!
