Sapphire Inn

I have booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, the staffs are very decent, rooms sizes are bit compact, but location of the Sapphire Inn is perfect, be it rental bikes, Beach, eatery, etc. Are just within 1-3 minutes away. But Sapphire Inn lacks of a dining area and a kitchen. Complimentary breakfast, they give is packed, parceled from a nearby South India food joint. My experience with it was not so good, as I was traveling and an upset is not so great for that. Look for better option, or the Sapphire Inn should provide breakfast with different variety. Hotel WiFi is good, 2-5 mbps you will get or more. Washrooms fixtures are all good. And room amenities are also good.

The rooms are too small and congested. Cleanliness at its best. The staffs are friendly. We expected a buffet breakfast while booking, but the breakfast includes 1 poori, 1 idly, 1 vada, and tea/coffee only. They didn't give an extra poori/idly/vada. Argued the food was over but had the same to serve for others. Pathetic food service and behaviour. The owner is somewhat talkative and helpful. Also, the staffs had the vehicle washed by the security person only using water- no shampoo and he asked an amount for the same.

We booked 2 rooms for 5 people and usually we had to pay for extra bed but the Sapphire Inn and staff were really sweet, they provided us with no extra cost. The uncle at the door who greets the guests is super sweet and nice. You don't feel homesick! the rooms are small and cozy! overall a great experience!

Simply put, you're unlikely to find a good Sapphire Inn of this quality in the French Quarter for these prices. The room was a little small, but very clean, with good amenities and great service. They even have parking, and that's not an easy thing to do in those streets. Also, all the shopping and restaurants/culture that Pondicherry has to offer, plus the beach, are within a kilometer of the Sapphire Inn. Try it.

Excellent stay with homely comfort.
Hotel is situated at a prime location near to famous Beach, ashram, Mandir, main market and restaurants. Staffs and management of the Sapphire Inn are well behaved. They provided me all the assistance as this was my first visit to Pondicherry. They are going to provide a good restaurant in Sapphire Inn very soon. I recommend to stay in the Sapphire Inn.

Food- limited options and quantity, but taste was not compromised. Room- very small but manageable for a couple and super clean. Service- room service needed to be nagged to get things done, the receptionist was a bit unprofessional, no cloak room available. Overall- squeaky clean room at prime locality and tariff is extremely reasonable. Travelers should consider.

The Sapphire Inn is surprisingly very clean. The rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos, but the quality of shower makes up for it. We were a group of friends and nobody had a problem us playing music and making noise in the night. We were quite sceptical about it. The breakfast is a platter of different food, was average in taste! I enjoyed my stay here.

We didn't stay at Sapphire Inn since 2 days post booking they told us they wad be shifting us to another property. But they were nice enough to give us choices and v chose villa Mira. Nice location, very close to Rock Beach, new property, homely breakfast and nice rooms. Will definitely recommend for a nice family stay.

The Sapphire Inn. Is located in great location and it was clean and hygiene as well. But there wasn't any kitchen facility available as the cooking chef was on leave which Sapphire Inn management should take required back-up also there should some complementary water bottle for the customer as they checkin.
