Bathrooms are full of insects,the brass n copper vessels kept for bathing purposes are black and have not been washed for ages! Food is also average and the rates are exorbitant for the quality of food. Only plus point is that the staff are very helpful and cordial. High time the management works on its quality and pricing Think twice before booking there! rooms were unclean and infested with insects , this place deserves a -1 star ruined my stay I don't understand how this pathetic place got good reviews on this platform

Amazing staff very friendly and courteous. The property is far away from the city so access is a problem but the peace and serenity makes the trip worth the distance. The food menu is basic but served with love more than making up for lack of variety. Great place to stay if you are on a pilgrimage

Property full of mosquitos, there is no security guard for the property and also very remote location felt unsecured, over all I would not recommend anyone.

Location is very far away from city. Don't stay if you don't have your own vehicle. Food was ok. Catch is they don't have a running kitchen, you need to pre book or pre inform within very limited options. Amenities are poor. Faulty bathroom faucets, no wifi in room, faulty TV the list is endless, infrastructure available is non functional or broken. Not everything can be hidden behind heritage tag. Service provided by staff is reasonable within the meagre amenities. Stay here only if you are a die hard nostalgic about landlord villas of past. Otherwise best to avoid given the price you are paying. These guys Really need to benchmark other Heritage resorts ans improve their own.

It’s not upto the mark. Low maintenance, intercom was not working. Tv power cable was missing. We were asked to adjust without tv. After our request they recharged DTH in another room. Parks and activities are poorly maintained. Ac water leaked inside room. Couldn’t feel the village feel. Just it looked like some stay

It was a pleasant and safe stay. the staffs were very polite. they provided a homely food. worth the money

Location good.Breakfast served was tasty. Overall not worth the price. Very poorly maintained. Rooms below average- a/c not effective, no wifi in the first floor, basic things like dental kit, not provided. Rooms not clean. Not a pleasent stay.

It's a Heritage hotel, the rooms are spacious and the food is prepared according to the taste, a good getaway from Chennai

Stay was good, only issue we had was with the AC. You must Pre book the food, as there are no restaurants around. Food here is average

We had a short but comfortable stay in this property. Ambiance is too rustic and good. Noting so heritage about this property. But liked the look and feel. The service was the best. All 3-4 guys were very helpful and used to attend to us immediately upon a call. Ultimately thats what makes it homely. Food was good too. Will most likely stay once again.

Room maintenance very poor. Small cockroaches in the cupboard. Musty smell in room. Ventilation to be improved.

Not a typical chidabaram style heritage hotel. But not bad either. Service staff ae very good and food served is okay.
