Sarovar Portico Badrinath

Though the facilities were great but the follwing need be brought to attention of the Management. Hotel was charging an attrocious sum of Rs 120/- for an hour for Internet in the lobby. The reason for such high charge was given that there are no other facility for internet in Badrinath. This is a wrong business policy. I was able to get Internet via wifi cards using Airtel. Secondly the Massage or the SPA is a shame for such a good Sarovar Portico Badrinath. The place/mats were dirty and cold without heater. The attendent did not have any idea of how to respect personal dignity. Personal hygiene of the massage person leaves a lot to be desired. More over masseur was inexperienced.

We were 4 of us who stayed at Sarovar Portico for 2 days 24th to 26th Oct. The Sarovar Portico Badrinath is located right near Badrinath temple walking is 15 mins and car is 5 mins. Whilst it was extremely cold we survived the extreme weather thanks to the Sarovar Portico Badrinaths provision of room heaters and electric blankets. Ambience was excellent rooms were neat and clean washroom were clean and food was also excellent. Overall staff was polite and courteous. We loved our stay at the Sarovar Portico Badrinath with my mother in law who is 69 of age she was able to bear the cold thanks to the heaters. Overall a wow experience.

This Sarovar Portico Badrinath came as a pleasant surprise in the remote area of Badrinath! Running hot water, tea at 0400 hrs, excellent lobby space, very convenient parking, night shelter for drivers, excellent food and very accomodating kitchen staff who prepared dinner tailored to the need of the guests. I am tempted to hold a mini-conference in this Sarovar Portico Badrinath [:)].

We reached the Sarovar Portico Badrinath after a day-long drive. The facility was nice and we felt relaxed pretty soon. The rooms were clean and service was reasonable. Of course, the service at other Sarovar Hotels we have used in other parts of the country, was somewhat better and this Sarovar Portico Badrinath does leave some room for improvement.

I had stayed in Sarovar chains before, but could not get to Sarovar Badrinath due to landslide, I have requested the Sarovar Portico Badrinath management for a refund of the amount, they were co-operative, but I Am yet to get it, let's See, will update status if the refund comes

Overall experience is good. Tourist needs are catered well at the reception in temple related things. Nice rooms.

The Sarovar Portico Badrinath is one of the best Sarovar Portico Badrinath in Badrinath. We have a great stay there. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The room was providing great views of the snow clad mountain. The staff were courteous and helpful.

Staff was good however the service was slow. Location is all right but walking to Badrinath temple isn't exactly possible if you are with older parents. Over all its easily the best Sarovar Portico Badrinath in Badrinath but is pricey for the service

Best Sarovar Portico Badrinath in Badrinath, but really overpriced. Nothing beats the experience of the heated beds provided.

Though the property is good and keeping in mind the place constraints it's well maintained. However, there needs improvement like our room window was jammed and suffocation.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. The hot water supply was available even in the early morning hours. Hotel staff were well disciplined and room service was quick. Inhouse restaurant provided quality food

The location of the Sarovar Portico Badrinath made it best choice for us and the stay ensured that the trip is completed in a divinely manner.

At a far off location like Badrinath, you couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff was extremely courteous, the rooms clean and comfortable and the food excellent. With the temple a little distance away, you felt at ease staying there.

The rooms were very cozy. The restaurant was neat clean and airy. The food was awesome. Surprised to find such a nice cozy place in such a remote location.
