Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays

We had 3 nights/4 days stay at Sea Gadabout Hotel. The location is great ,right on the promenade with un-interrupted sea facing view from our balcony. Their service was also good. Delphine from front desk helped a lot on cab bookings for nearby site seeing places like Pichavaram Mangrove forest, Auroville and other places for couple of days. The supreme rooms which we had booked are smaller compared to suite, but its value for money. For higher room prices you might get prime Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stayss nearby but this one had a good view. Since property is on the promenade they don't allow cabs till Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays doors and the staircase in the Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays is also narrow. Note all rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floor only(there is the cafe on the ground floor). But if you call front desk/Delphine she will arrange for pickup of your luggage from curb which is just around the corner of Hotel There is good restuarant Sicily below Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays, which serve really good Italian food and they have their own micro brewer, you can try their Pondy Pils Lager- really good beer

Our two night stay at Sea Gadabout was wonderful. The Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays offers basic amenities and has a spectacular view from some of their rooms, they do not have a restaurant but there are quite a few options in the vicinity. We reached the Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays at 1pm but were refused to check in as the staff was cleaning the rooms, so we agreed to come back an hour later. The Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays staff was kind enough to allow us to leave our baggage at the reception area. We reached back to the Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays and our room still was not ready, then the staff rushed to finish off some last minute cleaning and gave us the room. Staff were kind but I feel they need some more hospitality training.... all in all it was a good stay all thanks to the view from the room. The ac of the room wasn't functioning like it should have, that could also be due to the direct heat from the sea.... pls sort the bike rental if needed from outside, the contact given by the Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays was not that helpful

Had a wonderful stay. Kalai and other staff were very helpful. The view was best i have had till now. Everything was also very accessible. There is a problem of parking. The cars have to be parked about 500 mtrs from the property and you have to take a walk. Although the Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays staff is very friendly, they carry the luggage for you.

The room was beautiful. Service was very neat and clean. Would have loved it if someone was always there at the reception because early morning the reception phone kept ringing. My room was just next to reception. Also, if there was an option of in room dining, it would have been a 5 star stay.

The location was on point, the view was good, the breakfast was good and subtle. Calm environment. Staff was good and their services too, but only service which was not up to the mark was the snacks which was provided to us was chargeable as I expected it to be complimentary .

Brilliant stay for anyone who wanna stay in promenade beach. Sea view room was fantastic. They have a terrace for us to enjoy the rock beach from an elevation. A minimalistic sea side stay.

We had an excellent stay at the property. The staff was very helpful, they assisted us in every way possible with early checkin and also allowed us to safely keep our luggage in the lobby after checking. The view from the roof is stunning.

The place is well located right in front of the beach. The rooms are clean and the service is good.

The location of the Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays is top-notch.It’s located on White town, the most beautiful place in Pondicherry.All major cafés are a walk away.

It was a very good stay, the view from the balcony was lovely. All the amenities were great, and we had a really pleasant stay.

Very close to beach, staff is friendly, rooms are kept clean & organised. Rooms category are good and we opted for 2nd floor.. It's very stunning natural Beauty

Overpriced Sea Gadabout - Seaside Stays at great location. The room was just by the sea and had great views, however bathtub was broken, no toilet paper, no swimming pool

Room is small. Great sea view from balcony. Located in white town and lot of eateries are within walkable distance. Parking is not available at the premise and need to park a little far away.
