We stayed here for one night, and the experience was average. To start with, we booked the Sea Lagoon Health Resort Cherai looking at the pictures and on reaching there we realised though the pool view is amazing but the money is just for that view and for nothing else. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful too but the manager was weird and not much cooperative. Also, in the pictures you can see good restaurant pictures but no where it is mentioned that they have been closed down post covid and only one small restaurant inside the property is operative and the food was average. The breakfast buffet was a big disappointment both in terms of quality and variety. Everything was already displayed in the morning and was absolutely cold. We had to request to get us some hot food as nothing was hot lying in the buffet. The worst part was the swimming pool which ideally is the best thing in this property. When we decide to go in for swimming we saw a group of people in the pool in no swimming costumes but rather in sarees, night gowns and whatever usual clothes they wear. And to our surprise no single person asked them to be in swimming costumes. I would never pay 6500 for one night for such an average property where there is nothing good except the view.

The resort is sandwiched between sea on one side and backwaters on the other side. The resort has a big swimming pool which merges with the backwaters in the background. The rooms are maintained neat and clean with a balcony view to sea and backwaters. ‘fishermen’s wharf’ is a small bay facing the backwaters, where candlelight dinners can be arranged. ‘samudra seafood restaurant’ on the opposite side provides breathtaking view of the sea. Staff of the resort were courteous and friendly. They provide wide variety of seafood dishes, depending on the availability of fish. On the whole, the stay was very pleasant and indeed a memorable one.

This was my third visit to cherai beach and first to this property. Architecture and location of this property is excellent as architect has put everything in a very compact space and designed in aesthetic manner. It's a type of boutique resort which is minimalist but practical. Behavior of staff was impersonal. Breakfast was very minimal and food menu was very limited but all this can be put on covid as property has very low occupancy and hence operating with minimum staff. Overall an excellent place if you want to experience the tranquility of backwaters and a less crowded beach.

We were 3 of us friends stayed in a room, ambience is good but property is at bit commercial area, with private beach. Staffs are very friendly and kind, spa experience was good but we had been on christmas night where they arranged a even near by pool which was very disturbing with loud music could not even stay inside room, we just moved to beach till 10pm till the event was done they should consider ppl who don't like loud music because ppl go on vacation for peace n comfort. Other than tat its a nice place to visit once.

The location where it is situated is so beautiful and serene. Hospitality is wonderful. The thing which i didn't like about the stay there is complimentary breakfast. They don't have choices. They have only one veg and one non veg option. So breakfast experience was terrible. And if someone is vegetarian and opting for this Sea Lagoon Health Resort Cherai , Please don't ! Coz you don't get any South Indian food. Very limited veg options. location wise this place is really beautiful. Except Food we enjoyed our stay 😀

The overall experience at sea-lagoon was good. The location of the property is what makes it so special. Its so close to the beach as well as to the lake. The views from the rooms are extraordinary. The only concern we had was that the property is not well maintained. I guess that might be because of the corona outbreak as the business were down, if this can can be rectified i guess sea lagoon could be the best property at cherai. Nishanth

Rooms were clean and excellent standard. Staff and hospitality was excellent. Special kudos to neeraj who took care of our service right across. Food is very good, kudos to the chef. You can sit right at the edge of the backwaters. Arabian gulf view there is no beach just sharp rocks so cannot go in the water but excellent to see the rough waves crashing against the rocks. All in all all value for money.

Clear location, good service, swimming pool area is also good. Resort located in between beach of sea and lake. Overall satisfied

The location of the Sea Lagoon Health Resort Cherai gives access to mesmerizing sunrise over the backwaters and sunset over the sea. Great service, friendly and empathetic staff. Would recommend to any traveller

Beautiful view, good service, good rooms, clean water in pool, tasty food. Normally there is rush in restaurant, so need to plan and order in advance.

Very good room facilities, excellent security, lots of nice amenities and delicious food. Nice clean environment.

It’s a awesome place to stay .But swimming pool facilities not available in resort .Also there is limited items ( Only -3) for breakfast. We never expect such kind of limited food facilities in hygienic resort like Sea Lagoon.It’s not value for Money of stay.

Pool water and toles need to be maintained well

The location is so amazing and the service is really nice

Break fast is excellent & room service is also excellent

Temperature checks should be mandatory. Hand sanitizers should easily be at reach for all visitors.

We are three families stayed in sea lagoon resort and we have enjoyed and staffs are veer polite. We informed the receptionist to decrease the chlorine level in swimming pool water. All are fine.
