Sea Shell Port Blair

One of the last resorts up north at marine hill about 4km from the airport rush. Check-in took a while, slightly disorganized and had to wait for 10-15 minutes, hardly any mobile signal and no internet, even the WiFi is extremely slow which was perfect for a quiet holiday. We stayed in the standard room, spacious, nice bathroom, excellent cooling and great housekeeping, replenishment of toiletries, water bottles etc. Rickshaw cab available at the reception and we took down the rick drivers number and took his help for all our transportation before and after our havelock trip too. Nice big property. The only let down was remote location without much options for rick cabs unless you call them in advance. We had taken the bf package however, very limited choices for bf, and breads other items did not seem very fresh definitely not worth the money paid. Close to cellular jail and the jetty. Amaya bar was the most amazing rooftop bar, great drinks and service, excellent ambience and facing the sea. Overall a nice stay, could have been better if the prices were considerably lower and worth it and can definitely improve food choice taste in the restaurant.

We stayed here on our way back as we took the ferry in the evening, arriving at Port Blair from Havelock at 6 pm and had a morning flight next day. The Sea Shell Port Blair is super clean and tidy. Rooms are pretty comfortable. Happy all the way there. We tried to go their rooftop lounge Amaya and couldn't get a seat even though we arrived sharp at 7:30 pm time of opening. All seats were booked and only two available were highly uncomfortable. This was a disappointment especially after my friend had highly recommended it to me. If the Sea Shell Port Blair occupants themselves cannot try it what's the point. Please change this. We went to their downstairs dining resto Salt and pepper. Luckily, this did not disappoint. We ordered tiger Tandoor prawns and Banjara chicken Tikka and damn they were amazing. We got so greedy we ordered a platter. Note that the platter is well suited for 3 people actually. Every item on the platter was mouth-watering. Will definitely be back just so I can gorge on their food.

Very nice and cosy. Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of Sea Shell Port Blair. Couldn't have been more sweet, giving me directions to a function I was attending along with a helpful map, ensuring parking in car park and facilitating an early check-in. If nothing else had gone right with Sea Shell Port Blair this lady ensured I would have left with a good impression. Fortunately everything about the Sea Shell Port Blair was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in both bar where we had lunch and restaurant where we had dinner. Food was beyond good and great value for money and service in both places attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We stayed in Sea Shell Beach Resort at Port Blair on May 2017 for only one night. The room was bright, quite tastefully decorated and a decent size with a nice bathroom. We had a small balcony with a lovely view over the bay. Food (breakfast and dinner) was tasty and the service was very good. There was a personal touch in service. Room Service Staff was very gentle and helpful. Right from the manager till the room service staff all had one thing common, which was true hospitality service with care and smile. Wi-Fi is free and is available only in the reception area but it was not at all connecting. I would strongly recommend any traveler to stay at Hotel Sea Shell.

Without doubt one of the favorite Sea Shell Port Blairs I stayed during my time in Andaman! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on the board and we were upgraded to the Paradise Suite. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this)! And the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. Very good ambience. Nice facilities and good place to hangout with family and food was awesome!

We stayed in this property for two days. Service, cleanliness is as per standard. Highlight of this property is Location as its pretty near to jetty. Rooms and washrooms are bit smaller in size than it should be as per cost/per day. Restaurant has good food menu options. Food is really good and affordable. They have slightly less options on starter side in top floor Bar/Lounge. Ongoing musical program is worth spending time along with a beautiful view of port blair from top of the Sea Shell Port Blair.

Stayed here twice. One on Sep 2018. Sea shell is far from airport as well as the jetty. So, from location perspective, I would say average. We stayed in deluxe rooms. The rooms were normal with nothing much to view from the balcony. There were trees all over so one could barely have a glimpse of the sea. Dining was a bit costly. Bar prices were reasonable. To Scale them on value for money basis, I would probably look for other options with in house pool and great views of the sea from my balcony.

The situation of this Sea Shell Port Blair is amazing between Airport and ferry which is blessing for catching early morning flights and ferry which also helps you to save on travel costs overall the experience with the stay is amazing with great food and service from staff their rooftop restaurant is simply awesome with delight of having live singing performance sets the mood for the evening overall a great experience would recommend this to everyone

Nice Sea Shell Port Blair. Rooms are bit small but comfortable. Food is good. Sea food on the rooftop restaurant is excellent. Staff is courteous and Sea Shell Port Blair is located near to Aberdeen market. Time to market from Sea Shell Port Blair is around 5 min. On 2 wheeler

Hotel rooms all good and service also, if they have swimming pool it will be awesome, if any one need with swimming pool book Havelock location, it's awesome.

This is very close to the Jetty (1 Km) Also, the location is nice. Hotel staff were helpful during my stay. Their food is also good. Internet did not work in the lobby but that was expected being on an Island. There is no sea view from here so please check if you want that. Overall, nice experience.

This is a boutique Sea Shell Port Blair, with decent amenities. The breakfast was average with limited varieties. Room was clean and room service was good. Wi-fi connection was poor. The rooftop lounge- Amaya was very good with a great ambience.

Overall experience was good. Location is good. They provided assistance for the local travel requirements. Food provided was excellent but too expensive. Evening buffet cost more than 1000 bugs per person. Expecting little bit flexibility to accommodate last minute changes in the plan of the customers.
