Seclude Ramgarh, Taradale - Heritage Villa

No where the property mentions that the property is abt 200 ft below the road and has a steep climb down to reach. Once there, people with slight physical issues will hv to stay put. It gets scary in rains. Further, barb-e-que is very discouraging and overly priced. Property interiors are run down and need revamp. Food is average and over priced. Staff is courteous and helping but have limitations from the owners. Would not recommend for the value for money viewpoint

Place was scenic but no proper instruction and sign boards were not there and way to hotel was tiring with gleaming especially with kids. No accommodation for driver and food was highly priced

We booked at a very short notice. It was a rainy stormy night and because of location (which is very much off the road, we were stranded on the road for good 20- 25 mins. No sign board (just a small name board is there without direction, no lights on the way to the cottage from main road( google stops at this point and couldn't figure out where to move) most important no one was picking ph either. Location is a bit issue here. Rest is basic, simple and just comfortable. Would like to mention shekhar for his managing things and keeping guests at ease. Not a place for elderly people, and those with knees issues ( steep walk daily if you're going out for visits. Food is nice and good for relaxed and stay at one place cottage.

The place clearly looked like a fairy tale kinda setup. Cozy rooms, mind-blowing view (i booked the one in attic) and very happy and supportive staff. Will book again in summers once the fruiting starts.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at seclude taradale with my family and i must say, it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and ensured that we felt at home and they were especially considerate for our grandmom's comfort & access to the place. Firstly, i must commend the entire team for their outstanding hospitality, prakash, bhawan, vivek, om i & shekhar. They were always there to assist with any request we had. One of the highlights of the stay was undoubtedly omi's cooking. The meals were simply divine - bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend trying the local specialties, as well as the delicious desserts. Shekhar, who manages the inn, was attentive to every detail and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The location of seclude taradale is truly breathtaking, with several sitting spaces offering views of the giant mountains and beautiful trees. The inn is a charming english style bungalow tucked away in a silent forest, offering an old-world charm with modern amenities. Overall, i highly recommend seclude taradale inn for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. It is a wonderful choice for long stays, as one can truly feel at home here while experiencing the tranquility and beauty of this hidden gem.

Overall the stay was satisfactory. The photos are overly filtered but the property is nevertheless nice. It's comfortable too. Food is very nice and staff is good. Some basic utilities are available only on demand which should not be the case.

6000 feet above sea level, Taradale Cottage is a beautiful quaint cottage in Ramgarh filled with a lot of character and history to it. The place is now managed by Seclude in and to be honest, they’ve done a really good job of maintaining it and keeping the feeling of “home” alive. This is not a place you go to if you want to be surrounded by technology and amenities. This is a place you come to when you are looking for some actual peace and quiet. You come here and park yourself here knowing that there’s just an old Onida television but plenty of outdoor space to play! They have good WiFi and hot running water. They have mattress heaters along with regular heaters, so you’d not once feel the cold or feel like you are away from civilization. But believe me, when I say this, you’d want to be away from civilization regardless. The view from this pretty little cottage is beautiful! About 200 meters downhill from the main road, it’s a tricky path but the beauty of the place is being situated in this little valley of sorts! The current staff and caretakers treat you like family AND the pahadi food they make for you every day is amazing. I am so grateful that I chose Ramgarh as the first destination for my trip because it really set the mood right! Save this post if you’d like to book this place later. ❤️ Pssst.
