The shahi palace hotel is remarkable with friendly and easy going staff, good rooms, some with view of the fort, thus overall offering value for money. We wanted to have a view of the fort. Situated on the opposite side, it is a little away from the main fort gate, yet the distances in Jaisalmer are small, and hence not a problem. On the other hand, this location is great advantage, as from the west side, you get the best view of the fort in the evening, a Sonar Killa in true sense, from their terrace cafe or rooms. The terrace restaurant is best where one can just sit for hours watching the fort as the sun goes down. The rooms are clean and attractive. The bathroom is also clean and with modern fixtures. I was bit unsure between ratings of 4 and 5, but it loses one point due to its approach road, which is not very clean and may look a bit unfriendly to the first time traveler, specially if arriving late.

The dinner at terrace gives a pleasant experience. The room is well maintained and the bath rooms were clean. The staff there are quite courteous and helpful. They gave us a good deal for tinot and dunes stay also. Mr. Swarup is quite helpful man. The chef at shahi is very good, and the food was excellent. Overall its a great experience at shahi palace.

The shahi palace hotel is excellent. The location of shahi palace hotel is good comfortably accessible through local texy. Patua haveli and fort situated at walking distance. The room is very comfortable and washroom is good with the facility of hot water. The staff is very caring and cooperative. Ready to help for every requirements like camping in seam deserts and cab facility. Rooftop restaurant is amazing with very alluring fort view overall wibes of the restaurant is very soothing. Bonfire and music make the environment awsome. Food is very delicious and served with love. Hotel should only improve in it's bedding and quality of blanket.

The shahi palace hotel is situated very close to the Fort road. Considering Jaisalmer is a very small town, the shahi palace hotel is located centrally and allows for the whole town to be explored on foot. The food was very average and the roof top restaurant was a disappointing. The staff is very cordial and efficient. Jaisalmer has many power cuts in a day in which case the air conditioner in the rooms stop functioning, other than certain lights. The room is slightly dingy and the can become suffocating in the sweltering heat of Jaisalmer in the absence of air conditioning.

Best thing about this shahi palace hotel is the roof top restaurant which serves good food with quick service. At times, they bring artists to perform too. The view of the fort from the roof is really good. The shahi palace hotel is situated in narrow lanes and the room facilities are pretty average. We paid a huge amount as room tariff (without as we went their during last week of December but overall still liked the place.

During our Jaisalmer trip, one friend from our group stayed here and others in nearby different shahi palace hotel. Rooms of the shahi palace hotel are well decorated, neat and clean. A pleasant experience inside the shahi palace hotel. Moreover, staff are friendly and co-operative. During check in, room was upgraded from non-ac to AC. Thus, overall, an excellent experience to stay in this shahi palace hotel.

We were a group of 3 girls visiting Jaisalmer in October second week. The weather was not good at all. The shahi palace hotel is situated right outside the Jaisalmer fort and has a beautiful view of the same. The staff is very helpful and cleanliness is up to o the mark. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with a lot of help from the owner's son who took us to the desert Safari which was surreal.

The room was very good. The location was near to every tourist place within 2-3 km. The shahi palace hotel offered free taxi service from station. The service was quick 24*7 They also provided nice desert safari packages. Overall it was an amazing Jaisalmer trip and I would definitely recommend this shahi palace hotel as it is reasonable in rates, good location and nice service.

Hotel is good and shahi palace hotel staff are very friendly. The meal is just OK!!!!!. But service is fast. Hotel is at nice location and room are very decorative. Awesome.

Neat and clean room,value for money, just locality stinks but that's not in there control because roadside drainage made in that way.

Excellent hospitality and especial thanks to Kalu singh who helps you plan your trip in an excellent manner. Though one of their driver Guide singh cheated us on our way to sand dunes, on complaint not only the driver was changed but they also ensured we are given best of services. Food is really good
