The hotel is very basic with no hygiene maintenance and the staff are also not very courteous. I had booked the hotel for 5000+ per day for 3 nights but its actual worth is 1800-2000/-. I am not going to recommend anyone this property, rather you may get several better properties in and around the same area at half the price

The hotel is well maintained and the staff is also very well behaved. The bad thing about this hotel is the breakfast they provide. No kids menu. Not at all supporting staff in the kitchen and dining area. I had the worst experience of Puri-Sabji in the morning. The oil they were using was very old and used due to which the puris were getting black powder like coating. When I confronted the chef, he denied it and argued with me saying you are not allowed inside the kitchen. Very bad experience with food. Also the refrigerator they provided in the room was not working and the manager said that it is working and it will cool things at room temperature only.

Extremely Disappointing Stay at Shahpura Biryas – Not Worth ₹7,000/Night

I recently stayed at Shahpura Biryas in Udaipur, and while the rooms were spacious and nicely done, the overall experience was extremely disappointing, especially considering the ₹7,000 per night price tag (including breakfast). The service was absolutely terrible. I requested two empty cups, and shockingly, it took them over two hours to deliver. Frustrated, I went to the front desk, only to be told by the staff member that he had no idea about the request because he was apparently at another hotel at the time. Totally unacceptable. When I raised the issue with the kitchen manager, instead of an apology or solution, I was told this was happening due to a shortage of staff. That may be the case, but it doesn't excuse the lack of communication, basic service, or responsibility shown by the hotel team. This was honestly a pathetic experience, and I do not recommend staying here. For the same or even lower price, there are far better hotels in Udaipur that actually deliver on hospitality and guest service. Save your money and your peace of mind – avoid Shahpura Biryas.

The property is located at a premium location with a market nearby but in a very peaceful street. All the famous locations are within 10 minutes drive from the property which made it really easy to explore Udaipur. A bike rental shop is in the very same street which was an added advantage. The rooftop pool is just cherry on the cake. The reception is very helpful and makes you feel at home.

I spent a week at this hotel, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is top-notch, and the property is excellent with an amazing ambiance , big rooms. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The food was quite expensive, with even a simple cup of tea costing ₹70, which was a bit steep. Additionally, the view from the balcony was disappointing due to the construction site nearby. Despite these issues, the hotel's strengths far outweighed its weaknesses. The manager, Rajbhavani Singh, was exceptional - extremely polite, helpful, and ensured our stay was smooth and enjoyable. He truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. If you're looking for a hotel with a great location and excellent amenities, this might be a good choice. Just be aware of the food prices and construction view. Overall, I'd recommend it, especially if you can get a good room and interact with the fantastic manager!" 👍🏨
