Wonderful homestay and serene environment. Cant imagine the quality of food they serve. We requested for a local dish and they accepted it and serve us as complimentary. The entire staff is amazing. Thumbs up to you all. Every morning you are greeted by old lady with dhoop in her hands.

All members of Shakspo house family are so warm and welcoming guests, so I felt really like at home. They always tried to give me everything I wanted. Sooooo kind!!100% I recommend this place to all. Thank you very much!

Absolutely fabulous stay at Shakspo…personalized service any time of the day. We arrived very late night and the two Nepali brothers who were on duty took pains at that late hour to make us comfortable. The family that owns this place is very warm.

The host here was very friendly, took care of us by giving extra blankets and room heater. The food was amazing. We were preferring only veg food as we were travel-ling and it was very tasty. Special thanks to the staff especially rambhayya. I recommend and give 5/5 rating

It's excellent experience for stay at hotel shakspo through make my trip. All the services, rooms and staff are excellent.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms have a balcony with amazing views of the hem-is national park mountain range. The place was very well maintained and was among the few ones active during off season. The food made by the cook vishal was amazing and there was no restrictions on the menu. This hotel also hosts a lady that runs an ngo for rehabilitation and rescue of street dogs. If you are a dog lover, this place is a must. You will get to play with a lot of puppies and other super friendly big dogs. Will definitely visit again.

I really like the location of the hotel as the wind was very good and the atmosphere was crystal clear. Also the staff was very polite and disciplined.

I was looking for a place in leh, but not in the main town area. This location is just a 5-10 min drive from the main market in a quiet locality. Rooms were spacious and well kept. There's an organic garden and some space for bonfire and a stroll. Staff is prompt and friendly. Food could have been better.
