The location of property is really good. It is in the vicinity of ganga river. If someone really wanted to spend time at the river ganga so it’s a perfect location. Property also have a good cafe so if you want to enjoy your meals with a ganga view river, it’s really awesome. This property is perfect for traveler and the backpacker who really wanted to stay and experience the bunkbed and really comfortable with other solo travellers. This will give a good opportunity for you track with different cross functional travellers who generally came from india and from europe. The only one part i could say that they can provide more cleanliness in bathroom. That should be the area of improvement. Rest this property is really value for money for a person who really wanted to enjoy the ganga river view.

Shalom is a very good place to stay in rishikesh for very reasonable rates. Their food service and quality is also good but non-veg is not available. The Shalom Backpackers Rishikesh | Rooms & Dorms is neat and clean. They also provide scooters on rent, river rafting package, other adventure sports activities package for ex, bungee jumping, giant swing, etc. Regarding safety, they don't provide key lock to dormitories you would have to buy it separately from them at 50-100 rs. And they don't have any system to call room service you would have to get to the reception and ask for the same.

We were a group of 7 friends looking for a stay together in this happening place. This hostel has amazing view of the river and great hospitality. It is being managed by very enthusiastic and young management who are very helpful. Rahul was really helpful with our needs and hosted us well. Ankit manages really well and still be an amazing friend to those who need. Rahul is a good person to have a conversation with, and very humble and down to earth. I hope everyone who stays there conversate and enjoy their stay in shalom. Will definitely visit again.

I had the most amazing stay at shalom backpackers. Waking up to the sound and view of the flowing ganga was the most serene feeling ever. Anybody going to rishikesh should try to stay at this property. Also, don't rely on google maps for location. Instead take guidance from the Shalom Backpackers Rishikesh | Rooms & Dorms people over call because it's easily reachable but google maps shows you a difficult way. Apart from that, it was a beautiful experience. The cafe also had super tasty food to offer.

Rooms are ok, as you expect in a hostel. But if you take a deluxe room with river side view then it's a still deal. Very near to laxman jhula. We took 3 rooms from which 1 was deluxe. Clear view of ganga and ram jhula at night was absolutely serene. Just for its location it's better than any other hostel i stayed before in rishikesh. In hostel facilities are a bit less than other hostels.

The place is awesome and located with one of the best views the city has to offer. You will hear wild waters roar all night. The host and staff are a sport. The cafe is great to hangout and also for workation. The wifi is a bit slow to be honest and needs improvement. The location is pretty awesome near laxman jhula. A game room with a pool table is a must to be added though.

Anshul, vat-an and golu. You guys are the best host. Instantly bonded with them and felt like family. One of the best hostels i have ever stayed in. Rooms were a bit congested but who cares. All we need a bit of cleaniness and a bed to lie down. Holi celebration was awesome. Bakch*di was full-on. This is gonna be my goto place whenever i visit manali again. Cheers!

I met some of the best people ever at shalom. The location is very close to laxman jhula and is right next to beatles cafe. The terrace opens up to the ganges and the calming sound of water will definitely soothe you. I would recommend the place for the vibe and the people. The room cleanliness could be improved though.

The dorms are good and clean and the staff are supportive especially the host shiva he is just amazing
