The stay was good. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. View from the rooftop is really nice. Since the property is near Lake Pichola, commuting to tourist attractions was easier. We really enjoyed our vacation and would recommend this budget friendly place.

Our overall experience was really good! 💖 The location of Shalom Backpackers was excellent — right in the main area, which made it super easy for us to go out and explore. 🌆 The staff service was amazing, and their quick, friendly responses made our stay even better! 🙌 Everything we needed was nearby, and we truly enjoyed every moment. 💕 At night, the view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful — we could’ve sat there the whole night, enjoying the music and the perfect vibe! 🌙🎶

The property is good and located in a very convenient spot, with all major tourist attractions close by. However, autos and cabs often refused to come to the hotel location as the road was too narrow. I stayed in a private room for two. The room was aesthetically pleasing, but the floor always stayed damp or wet—probably due to the weather. I had some issues connecting to the Wi-Fi initially, but the staff resolved them after a while. I couldn’t get hot water in the bathroom for a day and couldn’t reach the staff on time as their phone was unreachable. The bathroom was just average, nothing great. Overall, for the amount I paid, the stay was quite underwhelming. Room service could have been better for the price. I paid around for three nights.
