SHAMANTAKA

It was my first visit to the homestay. It was just walking distance from the KSRTC bus stand and very close to Murudeshwar temple and Gokarna main beach; just 5 mins walk. Mr. Ram attend me when we reached and guided for the whole trip. He arranged a cab and rented a scooter at a reasonable rate as it was too high due to Christmas time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with Shamantaka.

We were a group of four, took two rooms, one room was very spacious and the other room was average. We were roaming out so we didn't spend much time at stay. The washrooms are very well maintained. However, in the small room, one wall was wet and the room smelled because of it. There's fish market right outside the house so it might smell a little if you open windows.

The property is located near to the bus stand and the main market due to which access to these places is really easy. The main beach and other beaches are 2 to 3 km away. They do not provide with food and wifi. The rooms were very clean and hygene and the washrooms were also clean and neatly maintained. Overall the property is very nice and staffs are very friendly.

The property is situated near to bus stand and the property caretaker who is the owner of the house stays in ground floor. The owner is very helpful and they maintain clean and hygiene. The place is not much spacious but it can be managed if you are planning to spend most of the time outdoors. Overall experience was good

It's a homestay, owners stay below and first floor given for the homestay rent purpose, you will find it's clean and maintained along with washrooms. You have dedicated balcony which will have view to the garden maintained by the property owner with coconut tress. Near to the main bus stand beach and temple all walkable.

I stayed here for 3 days and it felt like i had all the privacy i needed and at the same was constantly asked by the property manager if i needed anything. So, it was simply amazing to stay here and a great place to book your accommodations if you are looking at value for money. Thank you host for your hospitality.

The location was decent. The people who attended us were quite humble. The only thing which I didn't like was mosquitoes in the room because of which I couldn't sleep the entire night. Make sure to buy a mosquito repellent in case you decide to go there. The room was clean. Overall experience was satisfactory.

Shamantaka is nice place to have a staycation. Place was well maintained and clean. Host was friendly. It is located near to the gokarna bus stand, main beach and temples. Host was friendly and response was good, he guided every place near by gokarna

The property is very near to the bus stand. The room and washroom were clean and spacious. The caretaker was a very humble guy and made sure that we had a comfortable and memorable stay.

Good place to stay in and very hygienic and a friendly staff with excellent guidance and very cooperative.

Hotel location is just near to bus stand and temple. Main gokarna beach is also 5min by bike. Only need some cleanness and maintenance in the lawn area. Overall it was a good stay.

The owner greeted and treated very well. Glad to meet the guy. The rooms are basic and well maintained. There is greenery Around the house and it felt like home.

Location is just in front of local fish market, so very very smelly and noisy. Also the rooms are pretty small and mosquito prone(lizards etc as well). However, the owner is helpful although don't take his suggestions regarding places to visit.

It was very good experience in Shamanthaka , Good Staff , peaceful place for family , but had hot water issue and water quality was not good , all over had good time

Location wise is very accessible to main beach
