Shantai By the Lake

This resort is situated about 10 mins before the Guhagar beach with the entry signaled by a board right on the highway. The place itself is massive, bordering a beautiful and serene lake. The location just can't be more beautiful. The property itself is laid out very well, with rooms right alongside the lake, with a massive garden in the center bordered by cottages on the right. The staff here are very helpful, right from the reception to the kitchen. The breakfast spread was good, although I would definitely recommend bringing up the quality and quantity of the rest of the meals as they were just about ok. Also, if possible would recommend introducing maharashtrian thalis in the meal as options as that would complete the konkan experience. A small adventure park for the children right inside the premises, with a sperate parking make this a complete stay.

We wanted a scerene and placid place to wind down and also needed it to be safe shanti lived up to our expectation on all grounds. The service was excellent the food was great very very home like and the overall resort ambience was peaceful and very clean. The staff was very helpful ans prompt. Overall excellent

There is a pool but it was closed but you could always sit by the lake and chill. There is a bar as well in this Shantai By the Lake for those who like to chill with a beer. Overall excellent stay.

This resort came in as a surprise. This is next to a serene sweet water lake just 5 mins drive before the guhagar beach. The property is big enough to spend good enough time around the coconut and mangoes trees inside the property itself. The lake surrounding the resort is with very clean transparent water and is truly a gem of the property. It was a very blissful experience for the family away from city. It took us around 5 and half hours to reach from pune to shantai resort, guhagar.

Excellent location. Tasty food. Courteous staff. Seren lake and great near by places to explore. Overall very good package. Excellent place to relax, rewind and rejuvenate. Manager onkar oak is very welcoming with pleasing personality. Property is surrounded by coconut trees and 2 very old a most 80-100 years old mango trees.

The property is a great place to spend leisure time with family and friends. Good ambience and in nature. The food in the restaurant is also good. The staff is very friendly. The beach is 15 mins drive from the resort. The swimming pool is clean and enough to accommodate 10 people at a time.

Property is very good. Rooms are decent. Food quality is good but use extra oil in punjabi dishes. Zunka bhakari was good. Lake side view is superb. Overall very good experience.

Stayed for two nights in the cottage, great location but rooms are run down due lack of maintenance.
No special precautions were taken, except mask by staff.

The location is good, need to manage the swimming pool. The service is fast and the food is good. I would suggest to provide a small refrigerator in the room and the parking area can be managed well, there was water hence could not park my car properly. Thanks.

Excellent location. Great property. Surrounded by mango trees and coconut trees. Very near to beach. Centrally located. Good rooms with quality service. Superb food. I will strongly recommend this property for the traveller's.

The resort is surrounded by the beautiful lake and very scenic place for a staycation. The resort's staff are very polite and cooperative. I would recommend this place as a must to stay when you plan to visit chiplun. Guhagar beach is so calm and clean. All stars to this place. Thanks

the property has a beautiful ambience and the lake view is so tranquil. the hospitality was decent and the food was delicious. i would recommend the longer stay at this place for sure.

It was a nice experience, place is green and a big lake alongside makes it more pleasant. The beach and vyadeshwar temple is 10 mins away by car they had good variety of food in restaurant.

Property is excellent very good food however rooms need to be upgraded hospitality is also nice comparatively cheap pricing
