My first experience of snowfall in Chalet

We visited on 26th jan 2025, it was raining there. But it snowed in next day and became very magical. Chalet has spacious rooms, with all basic amenities like bed warmer, room heater, conduction warmer, warm water supply. Food option was limited. Power cut off was frequent but had generator backup. On day of our return whole path was covered with 2 feet of snow, so our cab couldn't come to location. However Sheen Woods Chalets, Tangmarg (Gulmarg) boys came to our rescue and carried our 2 suitcases of 15kg each on their shoulders n walked 1km to main road. This win our heart. Being near to Gulmarg, this is really a good n cheaper option but not advisable for old people n children to visit in winter during snowfall, as getting medical aid is tricky.

A perfect getaway! the chalet’s beautiful wooden architecture, clean and cozy rooms, and stunning mountain views made for an unforgettable stay. The staff's warm hospitality and delicious food added to the charm. Ideal location near gulmarg for a peaceful retreat. Highly recommended!
