Sher E Bengal Beach Resort

I recently stayed at sher-e-bengal resorts for 2 nights, and overall, the experience was very pleasant. The coordination among the staff was exceptional, making the stay smooth and enjoyable. I would particularly like to commend three outstanding staff members: the gentleman at the pool bar counter, ashok, and tapas from room service. They were incredibly humble, always wore genuine smiles, and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The resort's facilities, especially the swimming pool, were well-maintained, clean, and hygienic. The beach-facing sitting area was a highlight, providing a perfect spot to relax, especially in the evenings. The breakfast was simply amazing, and the quality and quantity of food were marvelous. While the pricing was on the higher side, it was well worth it considering the taste and hygiene standards. However, there were a few issues that need addressing:the ac remote batteries were dead when we checked in, but they were replaced promptly upon request. The bathtub knob wasn’t sealing properly, leading to water leakage. Most of the tv channels were not active, limiting entertainment options. After completing our check-out formalities and while heading towards the reception, we were called back by a staff member in a somewhat abrupt manner, saying, "oye, check out? o ye oye. It felt a bit unprofessional. The staff member then asked for our room number, took the key, and went to check the room. This could have been handled with a bit more courtesy. Despite these minor inconveniences, our overall experience was really good. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The experience was super good. The staff there is friendly and helpful. The person who helped was this guy suman. He was there the entire time and helped us with every little thing we called him for. We were a little scared because it was a girl's trip, and we were only two girls. But no one bothered us, no judgement which made our experience even better. The food was amazingly delicious. Everything went good until we heard the receptionist talking behind our backs. The checkout was at 10am and our bus was around 2 so we left our luggage at the reception for an hour from 10-11 and went on exploring the beach. We returned and i was sitting at the reception lounge area while my friend went to the washroom, it was probably just 5 more minutes. And the receptionist started talking in bengali 'will they ever leave' that was understandable, we stayed an hour extra, but we didn't use the rooms or any services. And my friend only used the public washroom there. The back talk was unnecessary and brought our 100% happy experience to drop to 80. I was actually going to tell the receptionist that was really loved it here and will share it with other people, but we changed our mind after the back talk. But i would still recommend this Sher E Bengal Beach Resort, beside that one staff, everyone else was super nice and good. So do try this place.

*exceptional service at shier bengal - samiran shines* i recently had the pleasure of staying at shier bengal in mandarmani, and i must say, the service was truly top-notch! the entire team was warm, welcoming, and efficient, but one person who stood out was samiran. He was our go-to person throughout our stay, and he did a fantastic job of ensuring that all our needs were met. Samiran's attention to detail, his friendly demeanor, and his willingness to go the extra mile made our stay truly special. He was always available to answer our queries, provide recommendations, and even helped us with our sightseeing plans. His passion for his work and his commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. The Sher E Bengal Beach Resort's facilities were great, but it was samiran's exceptional service that made our stay truly memorable. He is an asset to the shier bengal team, and i would highly recommend this Sher E Bengal Beach Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in mandarmani. *kudos to samiran and the shier bengal team for a fantastic experience* rating: 5/5 stars would i stay here again? absolutely! would i recommend this Sher E Bengal Beach Resort to others? without a doubt!

My family and i stayed at the super deluxe room no. 2010 at this beautiful beach resort. True to its name its actually on the beach with a patio where guests can spend hours. The room was neat and clean with all the facilities working. . No complaints on that. The swimming pool was well maintained and lively with an adjoining bar and cafe serving delectable nibbles. Special mention would be the chef. Currently the restaurant is serving up awesome cuisine ( pols do try kebabs) which could give a tough competition to kebab kolkata joints! all staff was eager to please and well spoken specially tapas dada, very warm cordial and gentleman of a person. Baby food is also available and they fo their best to accommodate any special requirements for toddlers and infants. So thankful for that. Only one major drawback as on july 2023. They elevator is still not in place. So without the lift, upper rooms are difficult to access, however the upper rooms have a view to die for. Loved our stay. Thank you shier bengal. N. B. Do call in advance and ask for directions. We took a wrong lane to reach the destination. Return was guided by them and was smooth.

This is my second visit to shier bengal beach resort, mandarmani. The location is excellent, it's just in front of the sea beach, hence ocean lovers can enjoy a lot. Tthey can visit tajpur also which is only 4km from the Sher E Bengal Beach Resort. Food quality is absolutely amazing and the prices are a little bit on the higher side according to me, but no compromise with the quality and hygiene also. Rooms are well decorated, clean, and they have all the modern amenities. If i talk about guest relations and the service, mr samiran nayak was allocated to provide us the services. I must say he is an experienced gre. He is a very humble human being with a good smile always on his face and he is best at his work. I will refer try to get service from samiran if you are going to shier bengal beach resort. His service is excellent and brought our experience level to a different level. We will visit again due to samiran's best service.

Check in time was 12 pm and we arrived at 1. 10 pm for checking in. Still had to wait for 30 mins before the room was given and we were told that the room is being cleaned. When i asked that - "the room should be cleaned and made ready within the check-in time and already we are more than an hour late so why do you need more time, they kept quite. Despite of waiting for 30 mins and checking in at 1. 40pm approx, room was full of cigarette smell and alcohol smell. Which was not at all expected. I had my parents with me who both are senior citizens. They didn't like it at all. I had booking for 3 people, but the single bed was provided approximately at 2. 30 pm which was again a delay. Food, staff behaviour and room service was good.

# property’s location is excellent. # food quality and quality are good but overpriced. # amenities which are mentioned in online travel company (i booked from make my trip) are not provided completely. After requesting they have provided some. It is very awkward to ask small things and finally we leave it. # services which are really excellent. Each and every staff are really humble, friendly and very prompt service. Finally, last but not least, which i must mentioned here, when the room were provided to us, we observed that the bed sheet, pillow covers are blanket cover was unchanged after left the previous guest though after informing they have replaced all items immediately.

Overall it was a good experience. Food was average but quality of the room, cleanliness, room dining service was excellent indeed. Hk and f&b services is par excellence. Staff are courteous and helpful with special mention of biswajit and bapu. govt doesn't take any initiative to cleanup the beach and moreover Sher E Bengal Beach Resort is even not bothered to clean up the the pathway from Sher E Bengal Beach Resort to beach. We have been in other Sher E Bengal Beach Resorts in mandarmani, the beach overlooking the Sher E Bengal Beach Resort had never been so filthy. It's a beautiful property so it's small suggestion to keep the approch to the Sher E Bengal Beach Resort clean.

Location very good but approach road to Sher E Bengal Beach Resort is still to be developed. Approach road of the most Sher E Bengal Beach Resorts in mandarmoni need to be developed. Attention to be brought to the notice of appropriate authority.

Very gd experience this time, staff gave everything within a few minutes of ordering. Even they gave medicines when we needed it.

Good fooding. Good sight scene. Good behaviour of staff. Sukumar mondal staff provide good hospitality.

Spent two nights here. It's an excellent experience. All the staff are very cordial and helpful. Location is just great. Near to sea beach. I had a sea facing deluxe room. Food is good. Overall it's a nice stay. Look forward to coming again here. One little suggestion. Keep a pair of slippers in every room.

The resort was amazing the service was best it was our anniversary ❤️ only thing they need to do is pool was not that clean rest everything was awesome

It’s a very very good resort. All staffs were very good and polite. The resort is very hygienic and if you visit there must try. Pizza from there bong pizza restaurant

Stay was really nice, it is on the beach. Service was best part, staffs are polite, we had sea view room and it was worth it. Food was awesome. Only if the resort can add few more basic toiletries that would be good, tissue roll in washroom, toothpaste, body lotion, conditioner. Extra towel and face towel, as whenever we have booked any resort those were there cost was less however shier e bengal was expensive but have lot of area for improvement. We wanted to check out late but they asked for 2500 for two hours, which is too much.

Overall stay was nice, clean room, nice and clean swimming pool, staffs are polite and ready to help, specially i will mention about a staff named 'sapan, he is so helpful. Food is ok but price wise quantity is less, receptionist will not greet you, they rude.

Beautiful location, vey curtatious staff, quick and prompt service. Specially mr. Swapan is amazing. He managed everything very efficiently. Food is great.

Everything was perfect. Food was too good. We took the buffet package. Rooms are very clean, stuffs behavior very good. Swimming pool with dj made our evening too good.

The best part of the resort is food is very tasty and delicious. The rooms were neat and clean, staffs are also very good

Excellent Sher E Bengal Beach Resort with well security & environment. Very near to the mandarmani sea beach. Foods & brekfast are so nice with reasonable price. Behavior of staffs are very good.
