Had a wonderful time at this property. Staff were very nice and attentive. Rooms were neat and comfortable. We got the room overlooking the Croc Park. Can't really see much, mostly you are looking at the parking lot when you sit on the balcony so suggest you opt for another view. The property has lovely pool and private beach access. The day we reached, there was a wedding party that was leaving which had left the beach messy, but it was cleaned out the next day. Breakfast buffet (The Reef Restaurant)had many options local and international; really enjoyed the pancakes and waffles counter, artisanal breads etc. The beach side restaurant ( C Life) wasn't as nice as we thought it would be. Had pre booked a table for two on the beach, didn't provide it when we reached and we had to move around looking for another available table which was disappointing. Menu had limited options, not much seafood (we were expecting some fresh catch of the day options) and not as good as the Reef. Had a live performance with great music. The bar, although pricy, had some nice cocktails. we had the Classic Whiskey Sours and Gimlet. Suggest you stay here but consider driving down further to Mahabalipuram beach and eat at the popular shacks/restaurants if you're looking for fresh seafood

Sheraton grand stay was a blissful stay. The Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa has a private beach with excellent landscaping and many outdoor and indoor activities to play. We stayed at ' crocodile park' view room with an amazing view from the balcony. You can see thousands of egrets and kite birds nesting over the crocodile park. The staff has the most courteous and prompt which makes the stay comfortable. The visit to crocodile park(next to Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa) is unique experience to see hundreds of different species of crocs. A must visit. Mahabalipuram town is just 15 min drive from the Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa so you can stay in a property with peace and visit a little touristy town too.

The culinary offerings were a highlight, with a diverse menu featuring delicious, thoughtfully prepared dishes. The accommodations were not only comfortable but also contributed to a pleasant and relaxing stay. The property was maintained very well , the rooms were tidy… very comfy bed .. the beach is maintained very clean .. and good access to beach - pretty close by. certainly loved the buffet dinner/ breakfast. Ala carte menu/ food needs improvement .. Staff had been very polite and friendly .. Special appreciation goes to Mr. Manish kumar - Asst. manager of F&B .. one of the person to make my stay comfortable .. and also the entire f&b staff has been on the toes during weekend … great presentation of the staff .. Very functional spa - okayish experience … toiletries and pantry station needs improvement … to Sheraton standards . I would love to stay again …

It was good. All the staffs were friendly and handled us good with a smile always. The beach and the resort together was so aesthetic in the evening. Only negative is that we have faced water clogging issue in the bathroom during frost day of our stay, very much disappointed with that. For the second day we requested the change of room, that was nice and comfortable without any issues and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks for the staffs they assisted us with that issue and as a token of compliment, immediately provided an upgraded room from what we actually booked.

Location : good, staffs and check in was cool. Rooms: spacious and clean. Staff hospitality: superb, all staffs who were inside restaurant were so kind and passionate in their service. I asked tailored dishes for my kids, they served it with a smile at no extra cost. Special mention to pankaj and rohit. Swimming pool was small but decent enough to enjoy. Cons: no much of garden activities or beach activities, one more swimming pool near the beach would have added more of a beach resort feel. Staff anus-ha needed little bit of politeness to her duty.

The Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa is a widespread property with stylish aesthetics! the rooms were clean and spacious. The buffet spread was impressive! from continental to ind o chinese, from western food like freshly made pizzas & pastas to middle eastern delicacies! there's even simple south indian meals that were included. The private beach is a cherry on the cake. It was clean and well kept. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property if you need a quick getaway from the daily hustle and bustle of your life.

Stay was awesome. Kids enjoyed through n through. Employee murali who works in swimming pool and cleaning, helped us lot in taking care of kids. 2 ladies at play area helped my kids in actives. Kids were fully engaged

My stay at sheraton grand was very pleasant. The staff and services were kind and humble. Went there after my wedding and they had the room nicely decorated and also gave a complementary dessert. The swimming pool and beach access is also great!

This place is very for good a week’s stay. Hospitality is amazing. Everyone there treats you so kindly. The view outside depends on which rooms you book. I took the sea view villa and it was really awesome.

The stay was quite comfortable. However they can include some activities like some of the other resorts do. Was unhappy with how the reef restaurant was trying to dupe people with exorbitant fare for buffet lunches and complained the same to the resort.

Its a great property, room size is good and staff are super courteous. The only issue i found. Rain makes the corridors leading to the room flood. Even the restaurant reef had rain issues. Maintenance needed.

Food is not good but other are good staff

We booked 2 rooms and we find lot of changes recently, in room fruit platter was not present, usually some cookies and chocolates we saw as complement in the room that was not present, otherwise all good, f& b services are good special mention about mr akash
