Had a wonderful stay at Shimla Gypsy. The host was extremely nice and helpful, and the location is very convenient — just near the Mall Road lift. There’s a small scope for improvement, but overall it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. Would recommend it for a nice stay in Shimla!

It was three room homestay , I lived in silver Oak , room is good hygiene wise , kettle and bottle is available, food wise u have to make arrangements on your own if u have to leave early,their own breakfast starts at 9:30 , although tea was made available to us before time , but I have to wait for 45 minutes from order. ,staff is not available at night like hotel !and my room got locked ,lock had issue and I had exam,so it created unnecessary chaos in the morning ,also in the night ! at night it was solved by staff himself. in the morning nobody was available,it's slope away from bus stop easily accessible,so overall okay

Hi Twinkle, I am really sorry for your expirence, I know this wont mean alot but as we faced extreme monsoons, our staff had to leave to take care of their loved ones back in their villages. About the food thing, we have installed a full fledged kitchen with an in house cook to meet the F&B issues. Rest assured we have upgraded to smart lock systems as the other ones gave a lot of problem due to extreme moisture in the air during the monsoons. We would love to have you over again with our new Shimla Gypsy 2.0
